Earlier this year I started drawing an isometric-yet-stylized-yet-accurate map of Dark Souls (sans DLC). I've had it on the backburner and it's still very far from finished, but for the 15th anniversary I wanted to at least share the final sketch which is already cool to look at

at least Skyrim uses Futura Condensed for a vaguely stylish runic look, Blood of Dawnwalker is just rawdogging regular style Futura in its 1300s rural medieval setting

Something "clicking" to me is like if you were walking along a line painted on the ground, following it as it occasionally turned at an angle, and you eventually wind up back where you started after 4 such turns, and suddenly a vague set of angled lines becomes "a square" in your mind
