And now it's hilarious because Logan is actually being hostile to a mirror.

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I think this artwork needs an update where it's revealed that Logan is just arguing with a mirror. And then we see Logan's face being utterly embarrassed.

Oh, I remember how there was an artwork of Logan refusing Dorothy to ride on his back, evidently jealous that Dorothy is getting his girl's attention. Evidently, it turns out Logan was arguing with a mirror. #YellowBrickRambleSpoilers www.tumblr.com/gastrophobia...

The short-haired blonde Dorothy always feels like someone who would beat up a Wicked Witch (and a Nome King) with a steel chair. That automatically makes her the best Dorothy.

I think Bumblebee has plenty of voice actors who define the character for many generations beyond G1. Will Friedle comes to mind. With that in mind, I do think Dan Gilvezan deserves one last rodeo with Peter Cullen and Frank Welker considering how popular Bumblebee has become since 2007.

If you worry too much about people in other countries, you will always feel this weight of misery and feel helpless. There's an old saying about airplane safety that is relevant here: You cannot help others put on their oxygen masks if you yourself don't put on your mask first. We'll survive him.

Just seen the Forgotten Island today. And honestly, try as I might, I couldn't really stop myself from crying near the end of the movie. It really hits you deep about memories and why they matter to people... and why people matter to others, no matter how small it may appear. I recommend this film.

Owning a Wii U is honestly frustrating when it hasn't been in use, yet also have the Wii data transferred there. Sensor bar's cord is broken, and I suspect the Gamepad needs a battery replacement. I'm considering selling/giving it away to GameStop... but man I do wish to play the it one last time.

The thing that I find funny is that this is one of the rare times where Mark Hamill plays a hero instead of the villain. And it's a Batman-inspired vigilante. I guess it's true on what they say: If the Joker no longer has Batman to play with, then he'll become new Bat-vigilante in his memory.

Yeah, but I don't want to be always paranoid and faithless about the strength of the core stories. It'll rebound and the timeline themes will endure to the next generation, that I have faith in.

For me, the Chronicles of Narnia books are still there for reading. If the new version sucks, it will implode upon itself and be forgotten. It wouldn't erase what came before, especially those that stood the test of time. Personally, I want a one-shot story adaptation about Susan dealing with loss.

Of course. I'm just thinking of a video I watched talking about grace and how it's been missing in recent years, which contributes to the sense of unsatisfactory feeling. And I feel it is connected to the impact of Rorschach and Watchmen. youtu.be/9Q3oKrc5CQQ?...

Kaori Mizuhashi is the original voice of Navi the fairy, a voice that many of us grew up with. It sounds like she's returning to reprise the role in the Japanese version, nearly 28 years later. Clip of an old promotional video for Ocarina of Time where she guided you, fully voiced.

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

True. But for me, I sleep peacefully with Metroid lore and don't really care about the plot holes because the story is straightforward enough. Can't say the same thing with Zelda because of how many times I have to deal with the same misconceptions of how timeline works in Zelda.

141

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I wonder if they still insist that Age of Imprisonment is still canon to the Zelda Timeline now that they have full proof that Nintendo does not put spin-off games on the Timeline at all. Or will they retroactively claim that Age of Imprisonment is non-canon? Goddesses, I hate their Canon Tier.

000

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I wonder if Zelda Wiki is going to eat their hat now that we got confirmation that Nintendo didn't put Age of Imprisonment on the Zelda Timeline. Confirming what I already suspected in how Nintendo sees Canon as. Canon = Mainline Zelda games Canon =/= Continuity

001

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Honestly, that's the fun part of Metroid. There's a lot of mystery in the games. I like it better than Zelda in that I don't have to deal with people insisting that the Zelda Timeline is perfect and absolute while also having double standards of continuity.

180

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Honestly, Metroid has the easiest and simplest timeline ever. Straightforward with a few interquels here and there.

1110

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Age of Imprisonment was NEVER going to be on the Zelda Timeline because it's a SPINOFF game, not a mainline Zelda game. Nintendo's idea of canon is not continuity-based. It's always been about the products they've made and parade around for their museum. Look at the Metroid Timeline for example.

000

Shadao @rexshadao.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I've heard a lot of chattering regarding the Zelda Timeline "update" on social media. I checked out the update on the website. And I can safely say this: All of those folks who insisted to me that because Age of Imprisonment is "canon", it would be part of Zelda Timeline? Yeah, you were wrong.
