However… if this does proceed, Omar will go to Court where she can show the evidence is feeble at best… and prove it’s a ‘vindictive prosecution’, with clear evidence… using Trump’s own words.

I agree. More Canadians should boycott the U.S. until the evil devil has left the presidency. He is ruining our economy and threatening our allies. Also, I have spoken to many in the U.S. resistance movement who, in solidarity with Canada, buy a Canadian product over a U.S. one… no matter the cost.

There’s no way that ‘insider trading’ can be considered an ‘official act’ under the Supreme Court’s Presidential Immunity decision in 2024. Could it? You never know with this SCOTUS. But pure common sense says that it couldn’t be. In 2029 a new Special Counsel will have ALOT to investigate.

I see your point, however… I think the Democrats can easily (& factually) tie Trump and the Republicans to all of these upcoming cuts. It was GOP legislation (with no Democratic support) and Trump signed it. Dems need to attack Republicans on this every damn day. Then we repeal the cuts in 2029.

Scott— Obviously this is their new strategy to get money from the government. The DOJ can not be trusted to ‘settle’ these frivolous civil lawsuits. Judges need to acknowledge that during legal proceedings. It’s imperative that outside legal groups argue against the defendants. How would that work?

I disagree. Ovechkin does not personally carry the ‘stain’ of Putin… but all Russians do carry the burden of Putin and his authoritarian regime. I’ve studied Ovechkin.
