Finally got everyone Super Aced (100+ Score) in SRW Y. Kira was absorbing all the score there for a bit LOL

Mazinkaiser SKL is what you get if you take devil side Mazin(Kaiser), give him two pilots from Devilman (code names for Kaido and Magami are Amon6 and Lucifer4, the demons of the two main characters in Devilman) and drop it in the Kanto Hell Zone from Violence Jack. It has heavy ties to Nagai’s work

Walker Gallia's final attack, "ICBM Toss" was named in Super Robot Wars and~ I mean that's just what it is there isn't really any interesting tidbit about it like I had with "God's Judgment" Jiron just catches and throws the thing lmao

To anyone wondering if I'm adding Megas XLR to the mecha anime master list, you bet your sweet ass I am. Apparently there was a 4k remaster that looks great and yes it's worth the 100+ gigs of space

Dann of Thursday's final attack, "God's Judgment" was named in Super Robot Wars and is in reference to the name Dann, which in Hebrew means "Judge". It's also meant to be ironic, as the Claw is essentially trying to play "God", and Van is passing down (God's) Judgment onto him.

I am meticulously organizing every mecha anime onto my file server by release year (fansub or otherwise). I also grabbed emulators for each SRW game. The plan is to drop the hammer and marathon every SRW game AND watch every mecha anime in release order, starting with Toei Mazinger Z. Soon™

I created a compilation of all of the CG Super Robot Wars openings in release order, starting with SRW IV Scramble on the PS1, which was both a first for voice acting for the series as well as the CG openings many games would include thereafter youtu.be/wOnzUgd2K7k

A,I Co., Ltd. has filed for bankruptcy in March 2025. The Japanese game development company was mostly best known for working on Nintendo-exclusive Super Robot Wars entries from SRW 64 in 1999 until SRW BX for 3DS in 2015: www.rpgsite.net/news/17202-n...

A decade ago, Winkysoft, the studio that developed the SRW games up until F Final also filed for bankruptcy. Sad to see two dev studios that have worked on SRW go down.

They really got some mileage out of SRW 4. The original release on the Super Famicom, a remade port on the PS1 that added voice acting and CG cutscenes, and another remake on the Sega Saturn known as SRW F and F Final that added series, which were also later ported to the PS1.

Nintendo released an article for SRW Y on their site which gives some in-game looks at the map and upgrade system. I really like how the UI looks, very clean. There seems to be a unit rank system, interested in seeing how that will work out.

The next Super Robot Wars installment, Super Robot Wars Y, has just had it's first PV released! They were very conservative with showing the roster, all we've gotten so far is Macross Delta (1st movie in particular), Getter Robo Arc, and WFM season 1 for new debuts www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWzN...

Tested out the SRW controller on SRW 1. USB adapter works, computer recognizes it as a PS3 controller. Gonna have to get used to playing with this thing since it’s left handed. Earlier SRW games will be okay but getting through later ones with this thing will be rough lol

Been going a bit wild buying SRW stuff. Other than complete in box or straight up factory sealed copies of games, I picked up that Hori SRW controller and the Scramble Gather card binder that I’ll use basically for all SRW related cards
