Revoluciana screenshot, Mastodon:

Sometimes I wonder what would happen to the world if cishet women could internalize that the stuff that they are made to hate about themselves is often the stuff that queer women often find most attractive in other women.

I wonder what it would do to their self-worth and confidence. To their empowerment. To know that someone, anyone, values them for what they have.

And I wonder what that would do to patriarchy.

Considering practically all the top user results on Reddit for "stone top" are queer results, the AI answer Reddit gives about granite countertops feels like an egregious example of queer erasure. I hate AI so fucking much.

Search results for "Stone Top" on Reddit:

"Answers

Choosing the right stone top can be overwhelming. Redditors recommend leathered granite for its durability and low maintenance. For those looking for lighter options, quartzite and soapstone are also good choices.

A favor request regarding: *US Trans Asylum Info*

Mastodon post by Revoluciana:

A favor request
**RE: US Trans Asylum Info**
Please boost for visibility

I'm working on a long piece about what you should understand about **asylum as a US trans person** because there are so many misconceptions and so much misinformation out there. Asylum, displacement, and forced migration are within the realm of my experience and expertise, so I want to offer as much clarification and useful information as possible.

There is a lot of ground I am able to cover, however, to be as useful as possible, I want to know from you:

- What questions do you have?

- What are some misconceptions/misinformation you've personally seen, so I can address it (even if you're not sure of the correct info)?

- What do you want to know?

Thank you for the help.

The Progressive-Liberal Dilemma:

Ugh. It's not that I want to be rich, I just want enough money to be able to afford to feed this capitalist beast before it tries to eat me first.

OMG I had to read this like 5 times before I realized it was talking about frozen water and not about, well, you know.

"These dots work kind of like the way a QR code does. It essentially creates a picture with information, metadata, embedded in the way the dots are arranged."

The yellow dots with a diagram that shows how the dots represent time, date, and serial number of the printed copy.

"Typically, each time you print, your printer creates a series of dots all over your printed paper using only the yellow ink. They're small and hard to spot with the naked eye, but they're much easier to see with a black light."

Side by side image of two close-ups of the same document with and without a black light shone on it. In the image with the black light, the dots are clearly visible, but don't seem visible in the one without the black light.

If you have solidarity with trans people but not with sex workers then you don't have solidarity with #trans people.

I can't. It's so disgusting. I want to vomit.

I just read the Neil Gaiman story. I had read some summary of the allegations from last summer and didn't know what to think at that time but I was certainly a bit sour. But I also didn't fully trust the source at the time because it was the same ones who put out that JKR transphobe podcast, so I wasn't sure what to think at the time.

But when I read this new story from New York magazine published today, I feel like I physically want to throw up and I'm simultaneously too horrified and frozen to cry. I won't even share the link. You can find it if you need. I'm not going to share details. But you are warned. This is not a typical Me Too. This is so much worse and it is traumatizing and if you have any level of trauma as it relates to any of this, I truly think you should be incredibly careful about reading this. You make up your own mind to read it, but I'm telling you, this is so awful. And it's corroborated by multiple sources and NDAs and texts and diaries from multiple people.

Neil Gaiman is fucking done. I'm so speechless right now. I can't stand the thought of him ever again. It takes so much to make me feel this level of disgust and like I can't even describe.
