Took two out of three kids to see Mando and Grogu at our local AMC. Settled for the popcorn tin and fancy cub instead of the other popcorn buckets. While walking out, they asked us to fill out a survey. The 7 year old couldn’t wait to share her thoughts.

Lutheran social ministry projects include immigration services, feeding programs, medical programs, and a lot of housing for seniors. From a religious charities perspective, we’re only barely out muscled by Catholic Charities. The cruelty really is the point here.

Took a day but some clergy noticed how the so-called freezing by OMB includes allowances for parsonages. Not sure how this is a funding freeze since I declare that information when I file my taxes. What is actually being frozen here?

I'll admit I didn't even think about them emailing faith leaders to announce they're pausing grants designed to increase the security in our buildings. But they're now gonna pause giving out money already awarded only a few months before Christians celebrate their most important holiday.
