I understand why videos need a catchy hook but some of this stuff is straight up gaslighting. Just saw a short titled, "The Terminator didn't kill the T-1000." Looked inside and it said the T-1000 "malfunctioned" after being blasted to pieces... I've seen barbers that split fewer hairs.

The Substance and The Backrooms are great examples of how a character's twisted personality and thought-process make a creepy situation exponentially more interesting. They remind us that bizarre ideas heavily depend on strong characters to really succeed. Backrooms did this especially well. 10/10

Jumanji is an SCP movie. No explanation for where the game came from or why it's magic. It just is what it is, instead focusing on the effects of the easy-to-understand set up and the poignant character drama. A good lesson for writers who are tempted to overcomplicate their stories.
