Stop saying: “I can’t take on another task right now”. It makes it look like it’s about your time management. Say instead: “I have exhausted all my spell slots buffing the party”. Shows how powerful you are and makes it clear it’s all your teams fault for constantly wiping at the boss fight.

Got my copy of #TheLongLivedKing #TheOwlHouse graphic novel, set after the final season. Only Dana Terrace would have the snails to expand a kids TV show to discuss the inevitability of death. Good read if you want more of the boiling isles, though obviously it is a heavy topic.

Dawnwalker first playthrough complete. Ultimately really didn’t need to worry about the time, aside from side stuff I achieved everything I wanted. Some interesting lore, will be curious to see what future games have.

I’m at the last bit of Dawnwalker and still have 7 days to spare, so I’m a little happier with the time system. Ironically the story bit that had me annoyed by it (Curious windows in the town) turned out to be weak outside of the one I’d tried first. Still wish levelling didn’t use it though.

I’m 12 days in and getting a better hang of things. I am enjoying the game but it’s still not coming across as a good mechanic, mainly because it disincentivises you from doing some of the games more interesting stuff (Mini stories in the main town is a current example).
