(1) Like John the Baptist, Gonzo is just plain weird. He makes zero effort to fit in. He embraces non-conformity. Because we know, disciples don’t fit in. The gospel is counter cultural.

What was I know for on that bird app? In 2012 I started a project called Occupy Advent, a commentary on the intersection of faith and public life — especially on the themes of hope and justice that show up in #advent.
