I’ve been a fan of UH sports for 27 years. It’s disappointing to see this team lose in the Sweet 16, but I would have done almost anything to support a team this good for the first 18 or so years of that fandom.

I’m just glad something good could finally happen for this beleaguered Patriots franchise.

It’s said that Curt Cignetti’s smile can cure cancer. Sadly, we will never know for sure

Me, a UU minister: Hey, @hollyanderson.bsky.social made a Unitarian reference on the Fullcast! What was the reference about? Doesn’t matter.

This guy, think his name is Manning, is having a hell of a game against Sam Houston. Wonder if anyone knows about him yet

Arizona State’s commercial: “I wanted a college that thinks outside the box — scratch that, I wanted a college that doesn’t believe in boxes.” Does ASU not believe in boxes? Like, I want my university to believe that boxes are real and exist. Is this another conspiracy thing?!?

Miami’s defense is hitting like every Florida player just insulted their mamas.

000

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

Is it bad to give up three of those right at the end of the game, too?

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

I’m not sure there’s a more aggressive team on offense, defense, and special teams — including like going for it on fourth and such — than Indiana. That can be a high-risk way of playing, but damn it’s fun and it’s mostly worked really well for them.

@alexkirshner.com Did you see the Ohio State running back Bo Jackson, no relation to that Bo Jackson? Just another to add to the list of non-related name sharers.

youtu.be/XOtrN92mDNA For the @ncaa.bsky.social to brag about these changes, which they fought tooth and nail for decades? Really disgusting, hypocrisy of the highest order. You should be ashamed, but it’s clear you are incapable of that.

I went to California in 2008 to see friends. I had been in LA for 30 minutes and went to walk on the beach. And who jogs by me but Val Kilmer? I said hi, he waved and nodded without breaking stride and was away, gifting me my very own little Hollywood moment. Ave atque vale, Val.

I love that even when the Houston Cougars are struggling to score, they’re like “we can’t score? Fine, you’re gonna not score even harder.”

Somehow, of all the awful and ridiculous things this guy says, the idea that women and girls sports are dying is the one that irks me the most. We’re in the most successful era ever for women and girls sports, by virtually any measure. Go fuck yourself, Tommy

Love how quickly he can make a difference. Two touches on two possessions and suddenly he puts 6 points up there.

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

Yeah, it's not exactly the same, but you get some NC State vibes, except that I think K State is more talented top to bottom.

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

I mean, this is the team we thought they might be this year -- the real aberration is that team that played the first 15 or so games? Or they'll revert to early season form and you'll be proven right again. A run in the tourney or flaming out losing 6 of their last 7 seem almost equally likely.

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

Brady: “The Eagles need to start scoring more points.” Insightful commentary there, Tom. Should they also try to stop KC from scoring?

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

So …. Fox doesn’t care that Brady is bad at this, huh? Like, even for their most high-profile game.

000

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Are we all out of new ideas for movies? We can only do live-action version of animated? Can we animate some live-action classics? I would watch an animated The Princess Bride

Did they really make the Army Corps of Cadets stand outside at attention in freezing temps just for that one b-roll shot? I mean, I know they’re tough and can take it, but it seems silly.

At family dinner with my wife and our boys (ages 10,11,12, and their friend, 11), and the friend asks: “Who here has the most rizz?” Me: “I do, obviously.” (They all turn to stare at me, flabbergasted.) … Me: “Who here has a girl? Exactly, only me. Boom.”

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Trying to remember what was happening an hour ago that you're reacting to. Could be so many things.

100

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Maybe it's just that everything looks worse in slow motion, but ... it looks a lot worse in slow motion.

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

I mean, there are plenty of things to be mean to him about other than his team's record. You certainly don't have to be nice.

000

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

I'd believe that. I'm just of the opinion that no team can get through 20 games in this conference without 3-4 losses. We could very, very easily have two already, so I think there's a few coming in these last 11.

000

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

I don't think so, but I love to see it.

100

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Yeah, I did a little research and he’s averaged more than 20 against them for his whole career.

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

In the arena I was wondering if I missed some beef they have with him from the past. Maybe it was just because he hit a couple early shots, so they decided to focus on him?

100

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

I assume this was immediately after he did that weird fall? I had the same reaction, like maybe he needs to get that leg right before playing again.

010

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 29/01/2025

I'm heading up to Morgantown tonight with the boys for the game.

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

Also, and this will not shock you at all, they don't specify in the slightest what she said that they disagree with, since actually addressing that would give away the game.

110

RevChristian @revchs.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

I'll never understand the hate for The Eagles. Desperado is a good song, folks.

I somehow sang that to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" instead. Not sure what that means.

Wild to realize that J'Wan was on that team, too. Just that he's been around so long.

Yeah, of the choices you have at that point, that’s the one you take.

they should do the NFL like tennis where there are four Super Bowls played under different conditions. one played in a dome, one played in Buffalo, one played with sprinklers spraying the field with water all game, one played with giant fans blasting the field
