Finally got the Panasonic Q up and running! honestly replacing the rails wasn't too awful but its definitely not something I'd want to take apart more than I have to. Here's to hopefully many more years of fun playing it! #gamecube #nintendo #retrogaming #gamecollecting #gamecollector #retronintendo

Yeah it's super weird. Seems like there's a bunch of things that can cause it

Zero 64 @retrozero.blog · 11/11/2024

If this is the error I was getting, it comes from a combination of gamepass and playing backwards compatible games on an XB1 / Series X. I fixed it by opening a 360 game on my series x, removing my profile, doing the same on my 360, toggling auto renew on gamepass, then re downloading my profile

If owning the legitimate games but playing them on unofficial hardware was illegal, things like the Retron, Polymega, or Analogue systems wouldn't exist

Yeah it's not an emulating thing at all. There are some emulators that can play games directly off an original disk if you have a CD/DVD drive attached to your computer and by all means that should be fully legal.

In no way am I defending Nintendo but the issue wasn't him using an emulator. Unless something else happened I'm not aware of, the only person Nintendo is using was streaming games that had leaked ahead of their release date. Even if they played it on real hardware, they still would get in trouble

I think games like mania should exist and be there for fans of the classic sonic formula, but I think it's stupid to have fully 2D games AND 3D games where 3/4 of it is also 2D. I think the 3D games should be all 3D and 2D games should be all 2D

I have one of these too! I know absolutely nothing about sewing and i found it really difficult to stop it from bunching up while trying to do text. You basically have to put it on the lowest speed you can and try to let it do its thing while also following the direction it moves the fabric

I just won an auction for one of the coolest things In my collection Stay tuned

Sonic CD was the first classic sonic game I ever played and instantly fell in love with it. Although I do prefer some aspects of the other 16 bit games over this one, I still really enjoy playing it and I'm to the point where I can easily beat the game in one sitting Also the music is fantastic

Here's one most of you probably don't know about: Lethal League Blaze is one of my favorite fighting games and it's always the go-to game for parties. Unlike other fighters, this is more like a game of dodgeball where players need to whack each other with a ball that speeds up rapidly with each hit

I don't even know where to begin with this game. Chrono Trigger is one of, if not THE best game I've ever played. It has some of the best and most memorable characters, music and locations in any RPG I've played, and that's on top of the extremely engaging and sometimes quite emotional story. 10/10

Continuing the trend. This(the CDi in the photo) is the rarest console I own. Plus three of it's closest friends. Would have added two more but they didn't fit on the desk. Or there's 3 others I could have done. Wait, I forgot the handhelds...

Only some of the early Wii Us with the 32gb Hynix nand chips have the corruption issue. As long as this new system is either a white 8GB system, has one of the other chips (a 2/3 chance i believe) or is one of the later ones (should have the black power input instead of yellow) It should be reliable

This is *probably* the rarest console I own but it honestly could be a few things. This is an (official-ish?) Famicom + VCR combo unit released by Goldstar Unfortunately it used a proprietary (and rare) wireless controller which I do not have. #retrocollecting #retronintendo #famicom #famiclone

Burnout Paradise was one of my favorite games when I was younger. I remember coming home from school and spending hours driving around the city doing absolutely nothing 😂

I haven't but I've seen it before. Seems pretty neat

Super Mario Land 2: the 6 Golden Coins was the first retro game I played and I immediately fell in love. If it weren't for this game, I wouldn't be into collecting like I am now

The DATASHIP 1200 is a #Famicom unit released exclusively in Japan. This unit is unable to play normal cartridges as it only has a slot for Famicom Network System Cards. These were used for horse betting, news, and banking. #rarenintendo #nes #retro #nintendo #gamecollecting

Posting this one to make @retrolegends.bsky.social jealous 😂 Rondo of Blood is one of my favorite games of all time and by far my favorite Castlevania

Castlevania Rondo of Blood for the PC Engine CD

Guess I'm doing this too. Leave a like and i'll post a picture of a game I like from my collection!

The add-on card was for the PC-FX not the PC Engine, and I believe it was for the PC-9800 and DOS

Yeah I love the way they look! Hoping to add an x68000 to my collection some time soon

Zero 64 @retrozero.blog · 20/10/2024

Yeah i noticed the lack of PC Engine branding but I didn't know Hudson owned the rights to the hardware. very interesting
