Happy 20th birthday to the #NintendoDS! This was my first Nintendo Handheld and I absolutely loved playing it as a kid. Here's my current collection of DS games and systems!

Finally got the Panasonic Q up and running! honestly replacing the rails wasn't too awful but its definitely not something I'd want to take apart more than I have to. Here's to hopefully many more years of fun playing it! #gamecube #nintendo #retrogaming #gamecollecting #gamecollector #retronintendo

Who can guess what system this is (going to be) a replacement part for? #retrogaming

Sonic CD was the first classic sonic game I ever played and instantly fell in love with it. Although I do prefer some aspects of the other 16 bit games over this one, I still really enjoy playing it and I'm to the point where I can easily beat the game in one sitting Also the music is fantastic

Here's one most of you probably don't know about: Lethal League Blaze is one of my favorite fighting games and it's always the go-to game for parties. Unlike other fighters, this is more like a game of dodgeball where players need to whack each other with a ball that speeds up rapidly with each hit

I don't even know where to begin with this game. Chrono Trigger is one of, if not THE best game I've ever played. It has some of the best and most memorable characters, music and locations in any RPG I've played, and that's on top of the extremely engaging and sometimes quite emotional story. 10/10

This is *probably* the rarest console I own but it honestly could be a few things. This is an (official-ish?) Famicom + VCR combo unit released by Goldstar Unfortunately it used a proprietary (and rare) wireless controller which I do not have. #retrocollecting #retronintendo #famicom #famiclone

Burnout Paradise was one of my favorite games when I was younger. I remember coming home from school and spending hours driving around the city doing absolutely nothing 😂

Super Mario Land 2: the 6 Golden Coins was the first retro game I played and I immediately fell in love. If it weren't for this game, I wouldn't be into collecting like I am now

The DATASHIP 1200 is a #Famicom unit released exclusively in Japan. This unit is unable to play normal cartridges as it only has a slot for Famicom Network System Cards. These were used for horse betting, news, and banking. #rarenintendo #nes #retro #nintendo #gamecollecting

Interestingly enough, the Sharp X1 was one of the few platforms to receive an official port of Super Mario Bros titled "Super Mario Bros. Special" This means it is the only device, to my knowledge, that let you play some of the biggest games of it's time from both Nintendo and it's competitor, NEC

The Sharp X1 Twin is definitely a very strange one. It's a Japanese PC Engine (TurboGrafx 16 here in the US) built into a Sharp X1 8 bit computer. It is surprising they chose the X1 platform instead of NEC's own PC-8800 line of computers #turbografx16 #pcengine #NEC #SharpX1 #X1Twin #Retrocomputing

The Joysound Festa Wii U, a Karaoke Machine released by Xing, has a fully functional Wii U inside. It plays songs through a modified version of the game "Karaoke Joysound" which allows for loading songs stored locally on a 2TB internal hard drive. #WiiU #Nintendo #Gamecollecting #JoysoundFesta
