I collect #CriterionFilms and thought that it would be fun to do a review of some #music and soundtrack related titles in the collection! The ones I talk about in this clip are from the #90s but I talk about several other great music titles in the full video down in the comments.

Fun sailing memory with my friend Luke Grunberg and his sister Amber when we were middle school age. We took a long time to jump off this little bridge but after we realized it was safe we started jumping off a whole bunch! #FunSummers #GrowingUp #Adolescence #MiddleSchool #Teens #Sailing #PNW

Just watched Menace II Society to see the kid some Air Raids similar to what I had. I loved those shoes. They go good with the charcoal sweats and that bright blue orange ball cap. #MenaceIISoceity #NineteenNintyThree #HughesBrothers

Scene from Menace II Society around the end of the movie. Little kid on tricycle.

The teachers at my middle school put on a concert where they played through a diverse set of 80s hits. I learned a lot about the needs of the school by going to this. I had no idea that ten families were homeless and relied on laundry and food services from the school. #EcksteinMiddleSchool #Seattle

My high school has a state-wide radio station c89 @c895radio.bsky.social that students help run. When I was a student there they wrote an article about it in @rollingstone.com and it ended up on the news @kiro7seattle.bsky.social. It was a really fun memento from that time! #NathanHaleRaiders

My friend being too scared to jump off of the dock lol! While my brother was talking about how boring this video was going to be I actually find it to be one of the most funny and therefore quite entertaining! At least to me. #MiddleSchoolSummers #Tacoma #PNW #EarlyTeens #SummerFun

This is a cool #ReebokPump ad that was shot at #DeceptionPass. My family would travel there when going to my grandparents very close. I didn't have the money to buy a pair of these back then but I bought some re-issues a couple years ago, they are so sweet! #LongerVideos! #NatureViews #SneakerHead

These are some really good #memories of traveling to the #SanJuans with my family and my family's friends! I noticed the #HardyBoys book on the table that gives me an idea to what I was reading at the time. #PugetSound #SanJuansWA #Sailing #Rafting #Boyhood #BlackSweatpants #SummerVacation #Tween

This style was pretty awesome. I saw a working #Hypercolor shirt at a pawn shop for $100 and wished I had bought it. That is the kind of merchandise that is hard to buy online. How can you know for sure if it still works? Looks like I missed my chance but I still have the memory. 😌

Whenever I think about the five albums that will be a part of Pedro the Lion's (@pedrothelion.bsky.social ) five album pentalogy I keep thinking of this Smashing Pumpkins boxset that had the five discs in a box with a booklet. A pretty fun concept! A later bought the re-issue box of this in 2012.

This is a collection of yearbooks I got to help me reflect on the 1990s. This general idea influenced me to make an interactive book on growing up years: @learningtowalkagain.life That project isn't based on any era in particular just the experience of growing up and what matters at that time.

A large assortment of yearbooks from the 1990s. They are all piled on top of each other.
