The label "immediately makes the game persona non grata in several important countries like Germany".

What is it like having a literary agent? Well, it's pretty early in my journey with Tricia Skinner, but (spoiler alert) it's awesome.

A word says a thousand polygons.

A digital-only gaming landscape shouldn't give publishers unlimited control over what we actually own. Physical media may die, but our rights should live forever.

I take a minute to reflect on the experience editing "A Cook's Guide to Supernatural Philadelphia," and the obstacles I hit writing in First Person, Present Tense, which led to issues like tense slips and passive voice. After feedback from my Agent I restructured the manuscript to First Person, Past Tense. And did it in about 2 and a half weeks! (I'm way more comfortable with Past Tense)

Deep in the edits process with my agent, an update on where we're going and the next deadline!

Hey y'all! It's been awhile since I updated, but that's because I've been KNEE DEEP IN ALL THE EDITS! Trish (my agent) had done an initial read through (after the one where she read it and wanted to represent me) and she had a lot of great feedback. I've mentioned this before in another post, but there was a LOT of work to do.

A look inside my initial batch of Agent edits and feedback from my Literary (Super)Agent Trish. The first step in making A Cook's Guide to Supernatural Philadelphia a shiny masterpiece of cozy goodness.
