You’d think they’d start with 1 😂

I bounced off it at first due to its pace. But it’s really good fun.

My Master System collection is absolutely banging ❤️

I've come up with an idea for a website and I don't think there's anything similar online. What's a good easy to use web editor that lets an idiot insert pitches and a small amount of text with very little effort?

The whole point of Netflix was it was a cheap alternative to Sky. How times have change.

000

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Having ads on streaming services is such a backwards step. Sod that.

000

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

We have to have 4k and multiple users due to kids

100

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Christ. Netflix is £22 a month. No wonder everyone is going back to piracy.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you land on your feet soon.

Thank fuck. Just got to reglue magnets and I’m done. 1/2

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Amazing achievement. Was so chuffed when I was invited on a few months back.

041

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Holy fuck. This is one impressive figure.

0120

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Adhesive simply isn’t sticking to the magnets so that’s stressful. The vinyl stripping isn’t sufficient to cover the holes in the metal racking so that’s stressful needs doing as well. So close to the finish line but it’s sapping my will to live 😬

050

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Final hurdle approaches. Weather stripped the front panels. Hopefully the magnets will do their job tomorrow. Here’s a preview shelf. Hopefully it’s still going to look like this tomorrow and the shelves hold the weight they promise🤞🏻

Inart are on fire at the moment. My poor wallet 😭 I won’t be getting into GOT, but Trinity is definitely joining Gimli.

I will find a way to keep it out!

000

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Sides of cabinet dustproofed. Cable ties used to pull cabinets together and prevent dust. New gap problem to solve 🤦🏻‍♂️

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I didn’t really do anything. You did all the hard work and it’s great seeing it rewarded by getting to work on prestigious mags like Edge and working on like Ico. The success is yours and it’s well deserved 👌🏻

010

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Fantastic stuff Graham. Well done ❤️

110

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Sadly not. It’s something that Netflix started doing in shows like Emily In Paris. There’s a specific name for it, but I can’t remember what it is. It’s largely come about due to people not paying attention as they’re distracted by their phones and complain about what they missed.

100

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

As much as I enjoy Traitors it’s so fucking tiring watching something and then hearing them tell you what you’ve just watched. I know it’s designed for lazy fuckers who watch TV while they’re on their phones and need to be informed about what they were too lazy to watch but it’s annoying as fuck.

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

On the final stretch. Lights are in, and the backing is in place. Just need to seal the back with duct tape add the acrylic sides and pray the magnets hold on the front.

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The PVC foam backing for my shelves has turned up and it's too long. I didn't measure it correctly 😪

Where would I be without you 👍

Just a reminder that the new issue is on sale now and is an absolute belter (like all our issues). Grab it now!

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Shitting hell. Instantly sold out at £520. I stayed strong 😂

040

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oh absolutely. I was tempted by NECA figures but I heard such pad stuff about the plastics they use that I never bothered. I still may get the Gremlins though as they should scale okay with my 1/6th stuff. Please share figures when you can. There's a guy on YouTube called Dean Knight with good vids

010

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Hah. I thought it would be a good centrepiece for the 80s/90s shelf I have planned but it apparently has a few quality issues meaning it will be a nightmare to send back to China if I have any issues with it.

110

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I've talked myself out of buying a 1/6 scale Delorean from Back To The Future 3 because it costs more than my mate's recent second-hand car that he can actually drive. This is a real growth moment for me 😀

She’s fine. Like I said she didn’t even register it as something unusual. When I pointed out that she let a stranger rub his hands up and down her body she said she didn’t want to cause a scene 🙁

010

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Melanie literally just told me that when she passed by a guy the other day on a plane he rubbed his hands up and down her waist as she moved passed him. She didn't even log it until we were discussing the case this morning, she's become that desensitised to it. It's absolutely horrific.

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The Hot Toys 2.0 Predator has dropped. Fortunately it's not much of an improvement over the original (it's still too short, has the wrong braiding and a sloppy paint job) so I'll stick with my cheaper version from Predators. He does have some nice weapons though...

140

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Well we don’t interrogate any of our interviewees, but this is absolutely something we’ve been discussing because it’s seeping into homebrew and Japanese translations as well. The short answer is it obviously saves time and money, but it absolutely needs a discussion. Don’t worry, it’s in the works.

You’ll go through a range of emotions but being ashamed shouldn’t be one of them. I want through a range before finally settling on relief because the penny finally drops and you understand why you do the many things you do. Six years must have been a hellish wait. I hope you get some closure ❤️

021

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

If you thought 2 was mysterious wait until the end of season 3 😂

Just finished season 3 of Silo. That was so damn fine TV.

@iconiqstudios.bsky.social any idea where I can order pyramid head 1/6 in the UK?

000

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Undersides of shelves all painted. Found some super strong magnets too.

030

RetrogamerDaz @retrogamerdaz.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Added vinyl borders to 3 of my 4 acrylic panels. Absolutely knackered and ball ache with bubbles galore. Luckily most of the bad strips are on the side panels. Still waiting for paint to turn up.

So my metal shelving is coated in a substance that repels magnets, so the 30 meter strip I bought is useless 🤦🏻‍♂️
