For a man who loved and pioneered the usage of chromakey at the BBC, he also loved using reflective materials for CSO shots.

My streams have been doing very well. And they’re all available on catch up too if you missed them when I was live and want to see my struggle in Metroid games!

It’s android Sarah Jane Smith, in a forest, pointing a gun off-screen. Her face has fallen off: instead we see futuristic circuitry and eyeballs on stalks.

That’s fair. I’m not sure how it could even be done otherwise without reprogramming the ROM itself. At that point they might as well just port the Wii U Edition.

So did the production team. They got him mixed up with another recurring character (Durst or Hogan IIRC).

It was deeply strange to bring back Bonnie and not pair her up with Sophie at any point. Imagine Mel and Ace both convinced they’re housewives by the Rani, then taking to the moped with Mel driving and Ace blowing up Bone Beasts’ feet as a drive by.

I didn’t see it there, so apologies if you’ve already caught this. But Wind Waker doesn’t have the option to invert the Y axis on the camera- if you remap it, inverts it conducting with the Wind Waker too. Maybe some hotkey arrangement to swap between game and custom controls could help?

In all seriousness though- Meta says this is fine, while it removed prohibitions of anti-LGBT+ content from its “community standards” several years ago.

@jonnymorris.bsky.social Up to Part Three of The Ark and enjoying it thoroughly. You can see what gets reused by Holmes, and Lucarotti’s story feels like he watched some Pertwee to update his ideas from the 60s. Well done bringing it to us fifty years on!

The Brett Holmes ep “The Resident Patient”, and “Oil” and “Boring” in The Young Ones. For The Avengers, I think his best are: - The Forget Me Knot - Wish You Were Here - All Done With Mirrors - Stay Tuned (albeit briefly, hut Roger Delgado and Kate O’Mara are in it)

It all sounds terrible, but a car hitting a runner?! Inexcusable. Hope they have a swift recovery with all costs paid by the organisers. Are pace cars a common thing in marathons? I’ve only done 5/10km runs who has pace runners.

I’m reminded of a scene in Red Dwarf where serial crawler Rimmer is praising a breathtaking sculptural piece to impress an advanced alien, before asking: “Pray, what do you call it?” “The… light switch.” “Oh. So I couldn’t buy it then?” “Not really. I need it to turn the lights on and off.”
