*laughing* That’s a great run down of how utterly stupid GOP staff and elected are right now. Deeply incurious, incompetent, and stupid clowns. Watching the video of the testimony is something else.

Okay, seriously, what is wrong with people? There are multiple Typhoid Mary just in my area with full tuberculosis coughs and they are not masked and are hawking up some serious phlegm while vaguely waving a hand somewhere near their face, blocking nothing.

Every stitch tells a story of love, community, and remembrance. Volunteers across MN created the "Stolen Neighbors Quilt" with 11,000 squares to honor Minnesotans detained by ICE. Each fabric square represents a neighbor, a family member, and a life impacted by deportation. We stand for Justice!

Jim Henson was born on this day in 1936.

Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks', but the man and woman at the counter of the diner are now Fozzie and Miss Piggy. The guy with his back to us is now Bert, but Bert is being operated by Frank Oz, who is crouched down in front of the counter. The waiter/server is now Jim Henson who is looking intently at Kermit, and Kermit, who is occupying half of Jim's right arm, is looking intently at Jim. The diner is now called "JIMMYS".

This is an amazing example of adaptive reuse of building materials. I have long dreamt of a Victorian glass and metal greenhouse like these at #KewGardens ( I would need to move out to the country tho and win the lottery!!) Now I want a tiny reused stained glass greenhouse to go in my tiny yard!

ICE took my friend and neighbor, Alma. Didn't tell anyone. Left her car in a random parking lot. She was about a mile from our homes. She had her uniform on, going to work. We were single mothers after divorces at the same time.We watched out fo each other in this what we could afford neighborhood.

I was interviewing some high school students recently for a project and AI came up. The students didn’t talk about how much or if they used it, they were more focused on how many teachers were using it for super lame lesson plans, dumb assignments, and bad grading. They were pissed.

Yeah, so curiosity, passion, and perseverance are so not what our credentialist education and job market value. When I majored in aerospace engineering they said, “turn to your right, turn to your left… none of those people will be here in a year.” Weeding out was the goal, not stoking interest!

Show, Don’t Tell! It’s not that Mamdani makes videos. It’s that he constantly SHOWS his values and accomplishments with policy AND videos. You Show as a politician by where you choose to place money, who you hire, if you take action, if you complete projects. Dems plan to plan & avoid stands.

We have the widest streets to make room for the biggest, most expensive fire trucks and we over regulate fire risk in multifamily making it hard to build new housing while still managing to have worse fire outcomes than other first world nations. America: spending more and doing worse… like we do!
