It's been 6 months since my hysterectomy. I have so much more energy now. This morning, I mowed my front AND back yard and outlasted the mower's batteries. I still have to take breaks, but my stamina is much stronger than it used to be. I'll take the win!

Trying to get back to sleep after my cats woke me up, when I notice something glowing at the other end of the room. It's the kerchief I crocheted with glow in the dark yarn. The lights have been out for over 4 hours, and the glow persists... nice.

Can cats become service animals without training? My cat Lilith will pat at my side while at my desk. I'd check her food and water, the litter box, and not see what she needed. When she would get very insistent I wondered if she was alerting me ahead of a pain spike or energy drop. (1/2)

I have a beloved cis het kid in my extended family who needed puberty blockers when she was 7 to stop her tipping into puberty way too early and it saved her. I am on hormones because I'm perimenopausal and it's saved me. Trans kids (and adults) should have the same rights and life-saving access.
