An old man was close to death when he was visited by a genie who offered him eternal life in exchange for one year of his life. The old man chuckled quietly to himself, for he had less than a year to live. "Sure thing!" he said. The genie turned him into a stone with a heartbeat and a brain. The man tried to scream but found that he had no mouth. He had thousands of nerve endings which were all set to maximum pain and hated it most of all when it rained. Was the genie out of line here?

Depends on who you ask. The genie was tried in a genie court of law for this and found to be innocent, though.

In case anyone missed my little X-Files point and click daydream

My wife and I are watching a little bit of The X-Files again and I've been doodling
along.

Imagine if you will: a five act point-and-click where you switch between Mulder and Scully depending on what kind of clues and puzzles you're working with. The Lone Gunmen get their own episode during Act 4 but they all move together like a single character. Tone is 70% comedy 30% paranormal horror.

Scully: "Mulder, you can't combine those."
