NEW: Charges were dropped against white supremacist Ed "Jake" Lang who remains jailed awaiting extradition to Texas. Lang was jailed on probable cause riot charge for holding a hate rally in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday. The protester dressed as Spider-Man, however, is currently facing charges.

Escalated quickly. Lang rolled up in the sidewalk in a a truck with private security. After being confronted, MPD came out to protect him. I gotta cut up video but I’m sticking around in case police get froggy again.

So everyone is oriented to what’s happening here. Counter protesters have taken over both sides of the street and after a lame ass show off force, MPD has mostly left the scene, leaving one vehicle and two cameras on the block. No sign of Lang.
