These tariffs continue to be a disaster for Americans, yet President Trump just keeps doubling down.

New York Fed Report: Trump's tariffs added 2.9 percentage points to consumer goods inflation by February 2026. Without the tariffs, prices of goods would have fallen. New Canadian tariffs are expected to put additional upward pressure on prices.

The Trump administration and his family must be thoroughly investigated and held accountable for these conflicts of interest.

The Trump administration has spent nearly fifty billion taxpayer dollars on a senseless war that is raising your costs. Meanwhile, Trump’s sons could be potentially profiting from the war, as defense companies they’ve invested in receive new government contracts.

The innocent people whose lives were shattered on that day—and all of the far too many innocent people whose lives have been shattered on far too many days during this conflict—deserved to live their lives with security and dignity.

Three years ago today, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack in Israel’s history, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 more hostage. This heinous attack inflicted profound pain on Jewish communities in Israel and around the world.

Those things are all a result of Trump tearing up that deal and choosing instead to start a war—a war that has already cost taxpayers nearly fifty billion dollars, with Americans paying even more at the pump. Trump will keep using the “small price to pay” line. Don’t fall for it.

Iran didn’t have a nuclear weapon under the previous deal negotiated by Obama. We didn’t have high gas prices. Our military bases weren’t under bombardment. We weren’t running out of critical munitions.

I have no idea what Trump meant by “Let them take out Los Angeles,” but I do know this: his argument that high gas prices are a “small price to pay” to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is complete nonsense.

Absolutely no surprise that the President who was found liable for sexual abuse by a federal jury says he “feels badly” for the men being investigated by the NY Attorney General in the Cornell rape case. Despicable.

My thoughts are with everyone affected by this morning’s crash on I-95 over Lake Marion. Our amazing first responders acted swiftly, rescued those trapped, cared for the injured, and kept other motorists safe. I hope all those injured make a full and speedy recovery.

Some new changes to SNAP go into effect today thanks to Trump and Republicans’ “big, beautiful bill.” States are going to have to pick up more of the cost of administering the program, which could force some states to make additional cuts to benefits.

And the $5,000 Trump’s promising right as the midterm elections are approaching, he’s been promising for over a year. He takes your money and then lies to you about giving it back. That’s Donald Trump.

This president is such a thief. The “hundreds of billions of dollars” the government is taking in from tariffs is partially from the higher prices you are paying.

You work hard and pay your taxes. Trump then uses that tax money to pay for illegal campaign ads promoting himself on national television. That’s where we are as a country.

In reality, this database will make it more difficult for eligible citizens to vote, especially recently naturalized Americans, by flagging them as ineligible and forcing them to prove their citizenship just weeks before midterm voting begins.

ICE has brought chaos to the streets of many communities, Americans have less money in their pockets because of Trump’s dumb war and tariffs, and the Trump administration is systematically making it more difficult, not easier, for many Americans to get ahead. This is what you call “results”?

It didn’t have to be this way. Trump had no clear reason to launch a war with Iran, but did have very clear reason to believe that gas prices would soar. He did it anyway. Now it could go from bad to worse, and there’s no end in sight.

Due to the President’s debacle in Iran, interest rates are unfortunately heading back up. That means higher borrowing costs for car loans, credit card balances, and mortgages on top of all the higher prices the war has already caused.
