As we close our 16th season of the Capitol Hunger Garden and the end of Hunger Action Month, it reminds us that we have the ability to take action to solve hunger, but we should continue to address food insecurity throughout the year to make sure none of our neighbors go hungry.

PA’s budget deadline has come and gone, and I am disappointed that, for the fifth year in a row, we have not reached an agreement on time. Crafting a state budget is one of the most important responsibilities we have as legislators and Pennsylvanians deserve leaders who can get the job done on time.

Last week at the Capitol, the #PAHouse unanimously passed my bill (HB 2252) to fight the nonconsensual sharing of intimate images. I also introduced new legislation (HB 2611) aimed at holding insurance company executives accountable for coverage denials that result in serious injury or death.
