Wow who’d have thunk it, vaccines work 🤔 Great news to celebrate.
No women aged 20-24 in England have died from cervical cancer for the first time, thanks to the HPV vaccine.
A landmark study funded by Cancer Research
UK shows the HPV vaccine is making cervical cancer increasingly preventable, with researchers highlighting a major milestone: between 2020 and 2024, no women aged 20-24 in England died from the disease.

Your urgent action is required. Enhertu could be the last hope for women with metastatic breast cancer to extend their lives. Visit the Breast Cancer Now website to learn more: breastcancernow.org/get-involved...
Banner reads: ENHERTU NOW
Body text reads: Enhertu is a drug that could extend thousands of lives. But it was rejected for use on the NHS in 2024 for being too expensive. Since then, thousands of people have missed out on the drug. And many have died. Robbed of the extra time they could have had.
We now have a chance to stop anyone else missing out. But we must act now. Sign our petition calling on the drug companies, NHS England and NICE to take this opportunity to make Enhertu available.

Reposting for MetUpUK. Re: scarcity of metastatic #breastcancer (MBC) data. De novo is the only MBC data reported currently - a small % of all MBC patients. Until we can count all those living with MBC we can’t measure outcomes, e.g. which subtypes improve with particular drug interventions.
Reposting for https://metupuk.org.uk/. Graphic from MetUpUK.org.uk. Text reads: Over 10 years since MBC data collection was made mandatory, the majority of us are still not counted. #CountUsAliveNotDead

De novo MBC estimated 3-10% of total MBC patients (no 'total data' means we don't know).
