I think the main reasoning is it's not to kill already alive mosquitos, it's to kill the larve so eventually the local population collapses.

Mosquito dunk! They work. Make sure you put it away from wherever you don't want them because it attracts them. a.co/d/0aoBnpEF

That's so cool. I still dream of doing a complete restore like that to a 1963 bug for a Herbie replica.

That's Marriott Ambassador status and in then some in one stay. Wild stuff. See if they offer status match on whatever their partner airline is.

For those that are also on injectable estradiol for HRT, what is your dosage frequency and resultant E level? I'm at 0.5ml/ 10 days and I'm at 167 pg/mL which I feel like is low but my Dr still uses the 100-200 guidelines. He also didn't have any concern of my Testosterone going from <10 to 44 ng/dL

Once again work has me on business travel over Halloween. I'm trying to not let it bother me but it's hard to not be upset that I'm once again missing my favorite holiday because of my fucking job. :/

Frequently and it's good to keep it on hand if it happens. They said to take note of how long it takes for simptoms to improve and let that decide if it happens again when to bring them to the vet if symptoms don't improve in the expected time.

[Deer Noises] @renfuchs.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

Yeah Gogi is 15 too and it terrified me because she was her normal self an hr before. I had never seen the sudden onset like that so to ensure it was not life threatening, I took her to the er. I hope your pup can get on the mend too. Our vet said that as they get older, it can happen more (Cont)

Meclizine 25mg is avail OTC as Dramamine, also comes in 50mg that can be cut in half. Cerenia 60mg is only really needed if they're throwing up. Gogi isn't but they gave it to her as a precautionary measure.

100

[Deer Noises] @renfuchs.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

She is on Day 3 since she first exhibited the symptoms and she has continually improved each day. I can send you the recordings from the vets talking about the issue, if you're not able to have them looked at.

[Deer Noises] @renfuchs.bsky.social · 20/08/2025

One of ours, Gogi, literally just had this happen. As Syber said, the emergency vet said it was a "Idiopathic Vestibular Issue". I freaked out when it first happened. Currently, they have her on Meclizine 25mg for vestibular issue, 1/day, 7 days. Cerenia 60mg for nausea, 1/day, 4 days. Cont.

SkyCards! You catch and collect flights/aircraft like Pokemon Go. It is from the company that does FlightRadar24 so it uses real time flight data. play.google.com/store/apps/d...

I now get to obsessively wonder why certain airtraffic is out and about. Yesterday a lot of P-8 Posidens were off the east coast of FL and now a MQ-4C is doing donuts in a similar place? 👀
