When you overuse laundry detergent, it can cause laundry to smell like a mix of detergent and "funk," and no amount of adding more detergent will make it go away. The smell of "clean" is the smell of nothing, not the smell of being overly perfumed to mask an underlying bad smell.

This design debuted in 2021, and I worked as a tech until 2023. During that time, the majority of service calls I ran related to this design were mostly related to customer education on how to correctly use the machine. When I say this design isn't intuitive, that's what I mean.
