Renata Keller @renatakeller.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Yeah, I eliminated the research paper from my advanced Global Cold War class last semester where most of the students weren’t history majors. Then I felt bad b/c it was mostly tests and short in-class writing assignments, which felt too basic. There’s no winning 😣 140
Renata Keller @renatakeller.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Agreed in classes with majority non-majors, but I think we’re doing a huge disservice to our history majors if we don’t even give them an opportunity to do original research and write longer, more extensive papers, especially in upper level methods classes 140
