Thought I'd paint more to fill another 4 image post, but didn't have the motivation. Here's the remainder of the RO set #remember_oseika #oc #art #oc_art #sci-fi #painting

Forgot I have this app. Maz ref redone. #remember_oseika #oc #art #sci-fi Working on the hands/prehensile feet still. Bluesky won't let me attach my timelapse of the piece because it's a .mov file for some ungodly reason.

I used to have #pixel_artist in my bio, but haven't ever shared any #pixel_art, so let me fix that. Been falling back in love with #undertale again lately, and have been making my own fangame. Will the gifs I post work this time? Let's see. #undertaleau #gamedev #indiedev #oc #oc_art

Undertale fangame intro slide featuring a human, with messy hair, a warm sweater, and glasses, alongside a monster: An old bloodhound in his sleepwear.

Same as prior, except the duo's souls are on display.

The bloodhound from the slides' dialogue portraits.

The human from the slide's idle sprites.

A redraw of my very first Maz artwork ever! I would have reposted the old one, but at some point, I must've deleted it. This pose/drawing is the sole reason the Datkashi have prehensile feet. #art #oc_art #remember_oseika #art_improvement #hfy

Maz, albino Datkashi, wielding three guns at once thanks to prehensile feet. This was my first ever drawing of her, and she's changed a whole heck of a lot since. About as much as my art style!

The same drawing as before, just a bit better and with more sensible gun designs.

Drew up Maulom, the last of the three #remember_oseika main characters! A Trezhau defector, doctor, and challenge to Maz's black and white worldview. #oc #oc_art #sci-fi

Maulom, a Trezhau doctor wearing a mix of his and Datkashi clothes. His shirt is stained in pink Datkashi blood due to a recent surgery, and his knee is splotched purple with his own blood.

He's scarred, with a mechanical finger and eye.

Lasker! She's one of my oldest characters... granted, that only makes her about 3 years old by my estimate. Keep a look out for her if I ever get around to making Drowning machine an actual comic.

A drawing of an anthropomorphic gray wolf character with a braid, sheepskin jacket, and bell bottom blue jeans. She stands in digitigrade posture.

A drawing of the same anthropomorphic gray wolf character in the same pose, now without clothes to show off her markings. No genitals or secondary sex characteristics are drawn.

New #remember_oseika full-body ref sheets for Maz and Arch! (Hopefully this will be the last iteration on their design) I've also experimented with some new coloring styles. My next big goal is to eliminate all the paint bucket residue. #oc #oc_art #scifi #hfy

Hello everyone. I've got some bad news about #remember_oseika. Moving forward, the RO as we know it is canceled in favor of a new story. It will follow Arch as he struggles with early onset dementia and will be called: Forget Oseika.

Relyt @relyt2442.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

I regret giving the Datkashi six fingers every single time I have to draw their hands. I can hardly draw five-fingered hands, let alone six! I spent like two hours on this drawing of Arch and half that time alone on his hands! #remember_oseika #oc #oc_art #scifi #hfy

Finally got around to drawing the full-body designs of the Trezhau, the main antagonists of #remember_oseika #oc #oc_art #scifi #hfy

Front and back drawing of the Trezhau, standing in The Blocks. The species resembles squids and insects, largely coming in shades of purple to blue, with four arms and four bright orange eyes. Their mouths consist of a semicircular orifice lined with 10 large feelers used for communication via clicks and gestures.

Mario Kart Arcade GP contains unused early character portraits that come in "normal" and "hurt" variations. Curiously, Toad's "hurt" portrait is identical to his normal one, making him appear to either be unbothered or particularly good at hiding his emotions.

Been doing some work getting a feel for #remember_oseika cover art. Here's two iterations, and I'll probably do a third based off the second because I quite like it. #oc #oc_art #scifi #hfy

Iteration 1: A desolate, wintery plain filled with dead trees. Smoke rises from the distance as snow falls heavily. The title, Remember Oseika, is in gold, 3D text.

Iteration 2: Arch Cyvlezh stands before a snowy valley, whilst behind the mountaintops a four-eyed representation of a city looms over, bathing him in golden light. Its walls are stained with pink blood to match the title.
