I have unlocked 4 mythic achievements, not a lot I know, but because they are retroactive ones… still have not seen the mythic achievement sound/icon. I do like that they ignore DLC/additions, and a breakdown is given of what you need to pop mythic… will it turn me into an achievement hunter? Nah

Very sad right now my original Xbox just did the magic smoke, I was assured at the time from the person we purchased it from that it had been recapped - I never checked - trusted the guy because he runs a store in a mall. So far as I can tell these are the original capacitors on the power board.

Halo is now under Activision, which, if we put our honesty hats on for a moment, means that the mechanics of Halo are in generally safe hands. An actual concern could be the story. The campaign alongside a wicked score drive this game— CoD stories are more miss than hit.

YouTube removed the subscription button from the mobile bar on iOS and while I see the thinking that subs is a tab on the homepage, it feels unintuitive. Hope they make this customisable or revert soon.

Anthropic and friends are talking about slowing the progress of the development of Ai and putting in better safety measures, but the genie is already out of the bottle. This year alone likely has more “critical security updates” pushed than in the past 10 years (theory, not based on facts)

Cyberpunk 2077 also worked; forgot about that one, but yep, redeems fine. I did note when checking between consoles that you may need to restart a console that the game was not redeemed upon to see it. I redeems one a One S but the series S and X need to restart to see them

Xbox discussing "Disc to Digital" did catch me a little off guard but was a welcome event... I really do hope the NextBox does include a physical drive, but it seems more and more unlikely. Annoyingly, I own a ton of 360s but not so much XBO or XBSX physically but curious to see how this plays out.

I've opted out of buying GTA 6 until it releases. I had fully planned to pre-order a copy on release, but TakeTwo opted to nuke physical. I was looking forward to the updated map in the box, of all things— the game will still sell like crazy and hope it does live up to the hype.

$16.68 billion might seem like a lot, but Facebook made $200 billion last year with profits in the $60 billion mark. The loss of funds will sting Facebook but I’m confident that figure will come down over time, and who knows what else with the current administration.

13,000 to 15,000 staff globally, so lets meet In the middle at 14,000 and apply the the usual 15% and that's about 2100. I hope this is not the case and EA backs its staff but this story has been played out more than few times this year alone.

Relic System @relicsystem.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

For the sake of the staff, I hope EA does not implode, but if recent events have thought me anything - massive layoffs are coming, FIFA licensing will likely return and games like FIFA will get a ton of Ai slop to offset the staff they let go. Maybe some unwanted to push into mobile games too.

WWE missing an opportunity to get sponsors on the ring stairs is honestly shocking, given it’s on the wing, the mat, the curtain, tables, chairs, and wrestlers’ gear. The marketing department should be ashamed at not getting ring steps sponsored.
