Netflix recently re-added the original 6 Trek movies here in Argentina. The thumbnails are certainly a choice, and half of them are different when viewed on TV for some reason. Why do streaming services always screw these up? lol #StarTrek

Decided to split up the container into two units rather than have it be a single 'C'-shaped one. This makes them easier to load/unload, as well as more compact to store on walls, similarly to how the TMP-era cargo containers were. #StarTrek #FanArt #Blender #Inkscape

We lost Peperino today, after a lifelong battle with a chronic illness and a particularly bad last few months. He was on the path to recovery but his body just couldn't take it, he tried his best and never gave up, and we're proud of him and thankful to all the moments and memories.

The (non-existent) 4 rules of starship design
Rule #1: Warp nacelles *must* be in pairs.
Rule #2: Warp nacelles must have at least 50% line-of-sight on each other across the hull.
Rule #3: Both warp nacelles must be fully visible from the front.
Rule #4: The bridge must be located at the top center of the primary hull.

Bit the bullet and modeled the HAG H3 chairs used on Voyager and other Starfleet ships. I didn't thought the bigger office chairs I had fit this room, and I also wanted something a bit more utilitarian-looking than the Capisco. #StarTrek #FanArt #Blender #Inkscape

I tested several different things but I ended up going for a simple panel above the beds. I added isolinear chips at the sides, to balance out the ones in the CMO console. I also added a cart and random props over the back wall. #StarTrek #FanArt #Blender #Inkscape

Did the remaining LCARS for the main console. I reworked the keyboard area somewhat, replacing the circular D-pad with more standard buttons. I also incorporated some isolinear chips to the main display, just like on the Defiant sickbay. #StarTrek #FanArt #Blender #Inkscape

When we moved back in January my Stage 9 mug got broken. Took me a while to get to it but I finally fixed it up and set it where it belongs.

The same mug, now glued back together and set on a shelf between a TNG tricorder and a replica of the Enterprise-D dedication plaque.

At STLV I bought an Eaglemoss DS9 model which looks great but was painted way too shiny/pristine for my liking, so I did some accent and weathering passes to it. For someone with 0 experience doing any of this, I'm very happy with the end result!

While doing tests with the lighting for red alert, I decided to swap the floor-level light to blue. This matches the other Budapest interiors, while also making the corridor a bit more distinct to Voyager's. #StarTrek #FanArt #Blender #Inkscape
