I make things, do you? I rub people the wrong way. Shame people can't be rubbed in all directions. 0 politics. Neither attacking or defending, I care about the result, not the colour of the person's tie, or what it's tied around. I mostly hate ties.

Linguistically, the opposite of 'irony' is literalness or sincerity. But I'll put forth that, emotionally or psychologically, it is 'indignation.'

Months later, Committee of Concerned Scientists, as well as other academic groups, have formally protested the detention, asking authorities to judge the family on their own merits rather than ancestral relations. The gov continues to oppose their requests for voluntary departure.

Can't even imagine people trying to figure out Andy Warhol's art, or any artist from this past century. But it was not an ad or poster, just a giant image of a metal food container. It was highly valued, protected even. Yet, it was such a common item; the cheapest stores sold it for pennies.

Federal law (8 USC.§1357), Customs & Border (CBP) & ICE have EXPANDED authority to DETAIL & SEARCH ANYONE within 100 miles of a border Summed up: That covers 2/3rs of the U.S. population (200M) people. I live on a tiny island; I carry my passport on me now in my own country. #ICE #CBP #PASSPORT

Would you read a Poker book from someone who always loses? What if they’re an elite End Boss/Pro? Table of 8 pros, 7 will lose each hand. Just like a room full of beginners. Variance doesn't care about your win rate. #RedQueen #Statistics

Not done as a teen, but I wanted to conclude my set with it (~1988) Was working with a wonderful Disney animator on #WhoFramedRogerRabbit (Game) - inspired to try my hand at drawing cartoon characters tl;dr - Doodled this while on the phone with a group of banally evil execs

50 years ago. I drew this in 1977. This is one of my favourite sketches I found. It marks my jump from drawing what I thought of as 'fake things' to drawing what I wanted to build. Note: the optical mouse was not invented (by others) until the 80s. #invention #Pioneering

I drew this half a century ago, at 17, I finally began studying da Vinci's art. Then it hit me: he drew in ink with a simple goose feather he cut himself, or, to be more dramatic, with literally pure silver or rough, custom-made paper. I still need to try both.

Over 50 years ago. Know where and when this was; back in the old country. This was my first attempt at logos (I could not spell, still can't), so this is more like Russlish. Probably trying for ВРУН (Vrun), Russian for 'Storyteller' Hey! What were you drawing at 13? #comic

Do not. Rather, get all your friends to reenact it for you. If they're good people, smart people, CLEVER people, they will have ALL seen it, and this should be easy.

You commented Smith should be Pres. Agreed (I hope his BG holds up, but as a forensic legal scientist who's sat in a lot of depos, he strikes me as pure quality) Was then going to comment the woman in the photo has a great arse, but can't do that these days. So, yeah, Kitty has a great arse :)

Over 50 years ago. I try to remember what inspired me as a teen to doodle these. I was always inspired by Metropolis (1927), but what is odd is that everyone else was NOT! Probably had just seen the movie Sleeper and got annoyed. #humoid #robots #anthropomorphic

Sketched this over 50 years ago as a teen. Akira Kurosawa was to Japanese Samurai cinema what John Ford was to American Westerns I never got the urge to draw cowboys; not sure why, really. The ronin is still a great starting point for a story. #ninja #art

I watched this (it was part of a news montage) It's amazing how many times I've worked my arse off expecting a serious, well-informed, smart opponent, and then find a poorly prepared, belligerent asshat yelling at me off their meds. Smith was a gentleman about it all; respect.

Side note: They're boring, scared, fearful, suffering from peer pressure, and slaves to culture and tradition. And I'm not being harsh; I'm speaking clinically. I'm fortunate to be surrounded by NTs who are ASD-friendly, and they answer direct questions about this topic.

That didn't smell right to me reading it (I've studied Glucosamine many times over the years). I've mentioned this many times over the years: we need little badges on research; one is a picture of a mouse, which usually DON'T translate to the same effect in humans. No test has been done on humans.

This one, I know exactly when I drew it, because I know what motivated me to draw it. 1974. Like archaeology, I'm trying to date-stamp my work as a child, as a teenager. Pentagram added to piss off adults. #DND #ODND #sketches #fighter #roleplaying #games #art

Reminds me of an old riddle about how to use a barometer. I recall the punchline being something about dropping the barometer off the top of the building.

I was asked to give lectures to 'space people.' What are 'space people?' People doing something related to space travel. They invited me to an event of Doctors joining together to focus on just space-related medical issues. Not my kink, but they are CLEARLY getting ready.

What did you draw when you were 13yo? I drew this well over half a century ago. Before D&D existed. Don't know why I drew these together, and for no sane reason, I feel odd sharing such horrid work. I always knew the 'eyes' were the power of a face. #sketch #AI #13yo #art

A concept most people (it seems) don't seem to truly grasp. That by the time things are being verbalised, the assumption should be: the pin has already been pulled; the grenade has been dropped at everyone's feet. Other warnings: - Need to go to the bathroom - My water broke - I'm going to cu...

I drew these 3 images 50 years ago on the same piece of paper. They have nothing to do with one another. Artists will notice that this AI (Gemini) does a horrible job of capturing the original intent of the sketches. I tried a dozen times. #sketch #AI #quality #doodles

My Jack Handy thoughts: I know it is strange to feel sorry for the CIA. But when you realise just how many people with Schizophrenia must contact them... wow. It's like being a pastry chef and opening a doughnut shop, only to learn you spend a lot of time with the police.

Looked through your work. Good stuff. This specific piece is better than most people might realise. Sort of a Rosette Stone of your style. Recently, I've been taking my own doodles I made when I was a young teen and using AI to colour/render them

Sketched this in 1976. I was working on a bigger piece (a painting) for Gygax. I don't recall the original goal, but DM popping in (floating), etc. I asked someone at TSR what Gary looked like; although wrong, this is what I came up with. AI has issues with symmetry.

Almost exactly 50 years ago, I sketched this. I was not one for religious iconography, although I did study Greek and Aramaic around then. Jesus Christ Superstar was popular (released ' 71, by 80 did over $230M) #Jesus #Iconography #Composition #Sketch #Art

I have a friend who grew up Objectivist (Randian). My debating style is Socratic. So I simply kept asking him what he was allowed to do with his child. A deep, gentle talk about smoking in the car with his child in the car worked well in changing his views a bit.

A dear old friend of min created Land of the Lost (David Gerrold), he also wrote 'The Trouble with Tribbles' - and in fact was the actual writer behind Next Gen at first. He often took 'more money' over credits, which, sadly for writers, is their best move. Being famous doesn't = pay.

It was rather hard to do this in one line, so I did it in two. When I was a kid, I would try the Picasso single line drawings, need to practice those again. Personally I don't celebrate BDs, but I hope you have great people around you.

I made this sketch over 50 years ago. I'll often #sketch several characters in juxtaposition (daughter, father, etc.). AI had a tough time with this: first Christopher Lloyd, then Donald Sutherland. If #AI were a human, we would need to prescribe an #SSRI.

No one asked, and I might be asked not to ever answer... Milt (fish cum) is eaten as a delicacy in Japan (called 'shirako') Bukkake is also a food term in Japanese ('to splash' or 'dash water over'). Dishes where hot or cold broth is poured over noodles, such as bukkake udon. I'll shut up now.

Sketched 50 years ago. I wasn't one of those angsty, depressed, angry teens. Nor did I have a great love of horror. I did get the chance to work with Rick Baker on a movie once due to my sculpting ability. As an artist, how AI fails is so annoying. #sketch #art #horror

'This is why China, and a ton of other countries are trying to Psyop the US population to be anti-AI and hurt their best interests' And again I will also point out (as I do with #robots) - notice Russia is not even on the list? There is a 'bigger' war out there.
