Out family biked from our home in NE Minneapolis to the Minneapolis Monarch Festival this morning and—except for the four blocks from our house to the Minneapolis Diagonal Trail—the whole ride was on protected bike lanes and trails. That’s pretty cool.

We took the 3-year-old to the State Fair Thursday morning and as soon as she heard the live music coming from the stage at the DNR park she sprinted to the dance floor in front of the stage, took off her shoes and socks and danced until the set ended 40 minutes later.

Our 3-year-old has been obsessed with seeing pictures of herself when she was a baby lately and has found much joy in discovering that—no matter how we swaddled her—she always found a way to get her arms out of the swaddle so every pic of her in the bassinet show her tiny hands next to her face. 😍
