Ozempic update. Nausea is completely gone. Appetite is low which is helpful with portions. A few pounds are already gone. We’ll see how it goes after my second shot on Saturday plus Thanksgiving weekend.

When we arrived at the house, I refused needing the cane, but my realtor comes up to me and says “I’m not used to you being this quiet, you look exhausted, tomorrow, I hope you can just rest” And that is exactly what I’m doing today. I’m so glad I have nothing on my schedule. 😴 2/2

What a day & it’s not even over! My doc finally got ahold of me this afternoon while I was out running errands. Phew. I’m trying to get dinner prepared so I can run teen to her appointment & after that, we go back to the house we may buy, to walk it with a contractor. No rest for the wicked!

So the doc I had an appointment with never called between the allotted time. I waited an extra hour. Nothing. So I called the office. Just a machine. Left a message… Now we wait but I’m heading into another appointment at 1pm. I really hate phone appointments. What a pain.

We saw another house tonight. Is a good alternative if we don’t land the property we are hoping to purchase. So much to think about. Tomorrow we’re at the property we may purchase with a contractor to get his opinion. This feels crazy.

My Ozempic nausea seems to have chilled out a bit. It’s usually the worst mid-afternoon so let’s see. My cortisone injections seem to be working well. No real back pain at the moment. I’ll take it. New phase of treatments- still in the baby stages but going well.

So the Ozempic is definitely making me nauseous, not to be deterred, I went and gently cycled on my indoor bike for 20mins to help my system ‘move’ and now the nausea has eased. Hopefully this trick continues to work.

Saw a house. The location is fantastic! The house has good bones but would need expanding & a complete redo. Hubby (who has been fighting for a house like this) is now backtracking because it’s ‘too much work”. Its exactly what he wanted! I’m really getting frustrated with his indecision.
