I have mixed feelings about this one. What she did was beyond horrific but I think there’s a conversation to be had about executing those who committed murder before their prefrontal cortex was fully developed. A life’s sentence should suffice in that case.

I’m also back to regular scheduled programming as my parents and aunt just left after visiting for a few days. I love how much time I’ve had this year with both sides of my family. I live so far away from my extended family so every visit is very special.

So last night was rough with the side effects. He had warned me. I usually don’t react much with steroids but that was not fun. Very restless, had spasms at the injection sites. Good news though, I woke up this morning and realized that my pain was significantly decreased & muscles aren’t stiff!

I’m off to an appointment today to help deal with my back pain problems. I have no idea what to expect. I really hope this pain clinic can help. It’s a last resort before my medical team brings possible surgery to the table.

Had a very busy day today, lots of shopping with my parents and aunt. It was a fun day and I found out that my Ozempic is half covered by my insurance so that was a bonus! Even the pharmacists were pleasantly surprised by that. I start on the weekend.

Had a great appointment with my doctor. Hopefully I’ll start a GLP-1 next week. My entire medical team are very hopeful that not only will it help get my weight back down but will assist with my MS and chronic inflammation. Fingers crossed.

My teens new principal is being a pita towards the students. They’ve blocked the circle pick up area off and forbidden its use. They’ve denied teachers ability to dismiss students early (at end of day) to make sure they can get to their lockers before the bus (now students are missing the buses).

Had to go into Michigan to pick hubby up from work and help take his car to a shop then come home. A) I94 traffic at rush hour is maddening. I don’t like it. B) Gordie is really cool to cross. I took a pic on our way back. Was surprised that it wasn’t busy.
