This jackass. I was interning at city hall when Chicago moved to ban smoking in restaurants. Ditka was on Fox News weekly whipping-up the most annoying people on earth - usually not even from Chicago based on call ID - to call my desk complaining they wouldn't be able to smoke in Ditka's steakhouse.

Joker 2 is so great. It pissed off everyone. But I earnestly - my back fully into it - believe it's one of the best films of the 2020s. I often have the Ti West S&S Poll problem of going chalk on my favorites. But Joker 2 is my special little guy.

The architect who designed the addition 50 years ago is still working and had the original drawings in his archive. Did this. And now we're planning a whole series.

Years ago I bought a Bob Mackie suit from his (middling) ready-to-wear line. It was like $25 on eBay and the thought was to have this image of Bart modeling screen printed onto a custom lining. Never did, mostly because I hated the cut on me.

Relatedly, I revived my old iPod and it still had my Limewire copy of Enya's Only Time - complete with the dulcet sounds of 9/11 mixed in. I just wanted the Enya song but this was the closest I could get. I think it was a mini meme to intentionally mislabel all sorts of stuff Enya-Only-Time.mp3.
