It's crazy they even used 'democratization' term. Also the prompt is eerily similar to the one they used in the recent trailer.

So the Commerce Department doesn't have two-factor authentication? My Steam account is better protected than gov sites? It's also funny how the chatbot randomly posted data on some forum. Imagine getting a bill for $10k worth of tokens, and half of it is because the chatbot had an online argument.

When I use the Default photo viewer option in ImageGlass, it replaces the names of all associated file extensions with "ImageGlass". This makes it impossible to easily tell what file extension a file has because when I hover over an image file, it shows "ImageGlass" instead of PNG or JPG.

I wonder how much of Anthropic's revenue is crap like "I used AI to set up an out-of-office response and it burned $10k worth of tokens." Btw, the article also states that companies still hardly see any ROI from using genAI. www.wsj.com/cfo-journal/...

A graph that Tim Sweeney is not gonna like. The vast majority of people, even in countries where there is less stigma around genAI, want the use of AI in products and services to be disclosed.

He announced that the era of fun and collaboration is over, and it's time to adapt. He also teases in the comments that he is building something 'unexpected' and it's not a game.

Funny because energy prices will only go up. The AI-bubble-driven price hikes are so severe they’ve even erased price seasonality from the graphs.

Dude really sells you on the benefits of using the slop machine as a journalist.

Some spend $20 so that Claude can remind them to buy milk. That guy worked at xAI btw.

Thank you for removing genAI! I really love your games, and this was the only thing that was holding me back from trying Hotel Barcelona.

This crap burns through $20 in a few hours just checking if it's daytime yet. This bubble is so stupid that it's impossible to parody it.

Peter Whalen made a game that looked like this, and it landed him a senior game designer job at Blizzard, and later he became the game director of Teamfight Tactics. Focus on what makes your game special. Using AI makes your game look like every slop game. store.steampowered.com/app/557410/D...

The AI industry is clearly running out of ideas because they already used this one a year ago.

But AI is so powerful that dogs can make video games now!

It's a good change, probably triggered by devs gaming the system like Embark Studios. In the Finals, they clearly mention that they use AI voices in the game. In Arc Raider, the disclaimer makes it sound like there is no AI-generated content in the game at all.

Here is a French Christmas ad for a supermarket. It has infinitely better look, story, and message. It actually sparks joy in you rather than leaving you depressed, unlike Coca-Cola and McDonald's AI ads.

For the first time ever, ChatGPT’s App Store revenue declined month over month. Are those the 'economic headwinds' that Sam Altman was talking about? His promises were based on the assumption of never-ending growth, not 5% revenue drops, so funding $1 trillion AI projects might get tricky.

Again: Just a reminder that you can ignore the entire publisher on Steam, and Steam will stop recommending its games to you.

Good news! You can now quickly reduce the amount of slop in your recommendations on Steam by adding Ubisoft to the ignored creators list.

Boycotts work. Duolingo has lost 60% of its value since its CEO announced it's now an "AI-first" company.

Musk did the same thing. Billionaires be like: "Low birth rates will end civilization." and lobby to ban normal porn. And a month later they launch a pornbot fine-tuned for addiction.

I bet some blue checkmarks will argue that it just confirms the European economy is dead, but the USD to EUR chart looks like that, which means people feel safer holding the European currency than dollars.

It's funny that Kodak, a company that sells supplies for devices from the bygone era, saw its stock price increase by 80% over the last two years. While Adobe, a company that went all in on AI, saw its stock price drop by 40% in the last two years.

Have you seen that last month ChatGPT's revenue on Android dropped for the first time in history, according to Sensor Tower?

Dark Souls 1 received only 381 reviews on Steam in the month of its release. It was a very niche franchise back then.

It's so funny they used 'pervasive' to describe it because 90% of the time people use it to describe something negative. Even Merriam-Webster dictionary mentions that in its definition.
