Fredericton Palestine Solidarity was not the reason the parade was temporarily canceled in 2024, which the author of this article could have easily determined if they had interviewed anyone who was on the board at that time. This erroneous statement is irresponsible and should be retracted.

If Wayne Long was JUST weird honestly I'd probably fucking love the guy, but he's not just weird. He's petty and vindictive and loves to abuse his power. He actively tries to get people fired and arrested for criticizing his policy positions. He's no better than the conservative he's competing with.
