My cat has gotten used to the environment! But now refuses to stay in the room at night and pulls at the doorsweep to let him out . . . and gets into yowling matches with the local cat because of this. I have played peacemaker and chauffer to his fluffy butt, the aggression is all on the local cat.

Heads up to anybody ordering from Good Smile US this month: check your credit card charges!! I got my card stolen earlier this month but I couldn’t figure out where it got skimmed from until I saw this Reddit post and remembered I preordered the Metaphor Nendo 😢 www.reddit.com/r/AnimeFigur...

Reddit post that reads:

Warning: Avoid Shopping on GoodSmile.us
Hey everyone,

I wanted to alert you about a serious issue regarding GoodSmileUS. Their payment system has been compromised for over a month now, and credit card details entered on their site are being siphoned by malicious actors. Despite this ongoing breach, they have not issued any public statement or taken sufficient action to address the situation.

If you’ve made purchases on goodsmileus.com recently, I highly recommend taking the following steps:

Monitor your bank and credit card statements closely for any unauthorized transactions.
Freeze or cancel your card if necessary to prevent further fraud.
Consider using virtual cards or alternative payment methods for online shopping in the future.
For those considering shopping there—don’t.

Please share this information with others who may be affected.

edit: Woke up today to see my second bank account was hit. I'm furious. I'm never using GSC again.

Scam PSA: Heads up folks, there are now bots on here who will make clone accounts and dm you asking for donations if you offer support to real people. New platform means you are less likely to have dm history with someone so even if you think you know them, just be extra observant.

Me leaving a comment on a friend's post offering to help support them financially.

I worry for my fluffer, the local cat hisses at him, and he passes by meekly despite being at least 20% bigger. *And* proceeds to lay down wherever. Have to oversee their interactions until local cat is okay with mine.

Heads up re: weird commission scams. This one just tried me, but the fact I use a form theyd have to fill out and I take a while to respond usually stops them in their tracks. Be wary of Enthusiastic DMs, esp if they don't follow you or have any authentic post history themselves.
