Also, seams stabilize, especially if there's a tendency to stretch (again: will, linen, and also cotton)or if the garment is long and heavy. I notice that I keep touching the left needle with the right one all the time, and I sometimes push the right needle tip with my left middle finger through the stitch, to help moving through. 010 1
