Very useful info if you're EU based. As bad as it sounds, I don't think they care much about human rights and freedom of speech so dropping some laws and the threat of legal repercussions might work better in this case.

Thank you! ❤️‍Not gonna lie, the armor was a boss to fight in itself (wow armor my nemesis), but it looks so cool at the end. Besides, it gets points for being a demon hunter.

This sounds like a bit but I’m being serious: kids using chat gpt for their homework are denying themselves the invaluable experience of learning how to bullshit their way through a problem. You drink some caffeine the night before and figure it the fuck out. That’s a skill. You need it in life.

Patreon is raising the percentage it takes from new creators (again), from 8% to 10%, on August 4. People with existing Patreon pages get grandfathered into the old rate. If you're thinking about making a page, best to do it and publish it now.

Same! If it's a big illustration or concept it's even worse. The "cooldown" phase. Like all the creative juice is gone, and often than not it takes me several days to have a new creative drive. Like I can draw but I need a "lets look at more art / references to get ideas".

This lawsuit is brutal. One of the exhibits is the letter Universal sent to Midjourney, including a quote from a 2022 Forbes interview that I bet midjourney regrets

Universal did not permit, authorize, or license Midjourney to copy or use any of Universal's copyrighted works in connection with any version of its Image Service or to otherwise exploit Universal's works at any time. You acknowledged as much in a September 16, 2022 Forbes interview in which you confirmed that Midjourney never sought any copyright holders' consent to use or exploit their works:
Did you seek consent from living artists or work still under copyright?
No. There isn't really a way to get a hundred million images and know where they're coming from. It would be cool if images had metadata embedded in them about the copyright owner or something. But that's not a thing; there's not a registry. There's no way to find a picture on the Internet, and then automatically trace it to an owner and then have any way of doing anything to authenticate it.

Some of the past commissions I made :) A lot of elves, and I LOVE IT ❤️‍

Portrait ilustration of a human general, Santiago of Sveri, for a pathfinder 2e campaign, Kingmaker.

Halfbody Illustration of a blood elf from World of Warcraft. Meet Solastus Sunscorn, Sin'dorei paladin from the Blood Knights from Silvermoon.
The observer can see his imposing figure slightly from below, so he seems more ominous and in control.
Blond hair and golden eyes like scorching sun, he's smiling with confidence and exuding "This is the power I wield" vibe. He's a fierce loyalist of Quel'Thalas, willing to do whatever it takes to protect his homeland, and the twist, benefit himself.
Wears the iconic blood knight tabard (black background with blood red phoenix-like symbol) and a golden an red plate armor, with black and red gauntlets and a golden long sword on his back.
He's weaving the power of the light with his hands. Dark canvas with light shinning from behind him as background.

Painted illustration in portrait format. Featuring a dalish elf from Dragon Age, named Cilranin Levellan. He's an elf with fair skin, slender facial features, with a faded green facial tattoo, composed entirely by delicate entertwined lines that follow some of his face edges.
He has unsaturated dark brown hair. His hairdo is a high short ponytail, no hair on his forehead, but a medium length hair covering his shoulders. His olive green eyes are a little bit droopy, altho he shows an intense glance, playful yet fixated. "I found you" kinda of expression, with a smirk, confident that whoever it's his objective, it won't get away.

He carries an elven bow (with some twisting vines as decoration) and a dalish quiver with green engravings on it. His golden shoulderpads showcase the emblem of the Inquisition (Dragon Age Inquisition). He has a green cloak/scarf covering his neck.

As background, he has hints of a dark forest.

It's my birthday 🤗 As per tradition, I'm humbly asking for some reposts of this or any other of my art today ❤️

Painting of a red skinned Man'ari woman with corrupted green eyes and a condescending look. She wears gold jewellery with green gems, including cuffs on her horns

Two painted portraits of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. One is in colour and one in black and white. He is smiling in both, one more subtle and one beaming

Painterly portrait of Matt Mercer against a brown background. He has his brows raised in a soft, knowing smile
