This is probably nothing new to most people but I've spent the last couple of days sick enough to watch american political journalists on youtube and it's impressive how unequal they are to the task. Like, stenographers have to accurately transcribe things and sports commentators have opinions.

I remember getting so annoyed by the "No Fun Allowed" crew on Twitter back then. Any time something fun happened to a "very serious" wrestler, they turned into Jim Cornette. It just smacked of a deep insecurity about their own enjoyment of wrestling.

I know everyone wants to be a big singles star, but there are a lot of good tag teams in AEW right now. I am not saying bring the Acclaimed back, but Bowens is an accomplished tag guy. Teaming him with the right person could be very good, and they would have a lot of great dance partners.

I don't know if Shaemus would be good or bad in AEW. I haven't watched WWE since, like, 2019. I don't know if his work holds up. But I will say, The Bar was one of my favorite tag teams while it was around and I was watching. Very much in the style of old APA. I wouldn't hate it coming back.

That Salon article about AEW deaths is absolutely reprehensible I am not going to pretend that AEW is without blame or a perfect company, but the way the piece focuses on AEW wrestlers dying (of which there have been 2 recent tragic losses) and off-handedly mentions WWE talent who died DECADES ago
