Certain commentators banging on about riders only have themselves to blame they're not consulted but going to the safety meetings doesn't mean they get a say. Pecco said 4 riders went this time, but that wasn't for a discussion it was an announcement. The 4 had zero input so really no point in going

The reason why more riders don't go to safety commission isn't that they can't be bothered, it's that there's a perception that it's a waste of time when it's routinely ignored. Safety commission isn't a formal body. It has no power. It's just an advisory forum.

I've done quite a few laps of the track this weekend already, and the height of the gravel trap is one of the things I've been watching out for. They've definitely done a lot of work flattening them out and matching them to the kerbs.
