I don't regret not having children. I grew up taking care of children. Whenever I had a bad day or was upset about something, I was told that I was setting a bad example and to be more grown up. I dont dislike children. I will always strive to treat them with kindness but now I get to be the brat

So yesterday was my three month check in after my February oh so fun and expensive hospital stay. Doctor came back with my tests results and was like: OH you went down from a 11.4 A1C (its supposed to be between 5 and 7) to a 6. What did you do? Me: Beans :3

I guess i confused some people when I mentioned watercolors. This is what my sketches look like before I did some clean up in clip studio. I found out that doing a light watercolor wash prevents them form fading/smudging over time.

#aupril No. 3 Dragon and No. 4 Hero I'm still getting used to watercolors, so I think I just used too much water this time. I'm not coloring them. I'm just using a "light" watercolor wash to seal the pencil in to prevent smudging. I just got too overconfident this time. :P

#aupril challenge. My fav Blue being a pirate and a mermaid. Of course, the mermaid is based on Sku's leviantale's version with him being a Selkie. I used a Ringed Seal as reference, since they are one of the smallest types of seals. :)

I kept getting woken up last night by my low glucose alarm. Its supposed to wake me up, so its loud and persistent. Thing is, I was fine. The little sensor thing was getting bad readings. I didn't want to take it off because I spend money on it and I wanted it to brute force it to work...

Leaving the hospital a new woman with different guts. Did not expect to spend 7+ days here. 52 blood draws, several ivs, and a 5 day fast that made appreciate apple sauce too much.
