Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It’s been a great day! I just got home with this set that came out today; Mom and I watched Downton Abbey, and for this to come out on my birthday was surely a sign. Love you, Mom! Wish you were here 💜

It’s my birthday, and I packed quite the feast for lunch lol Tuna maki with bell pepper, cucumber, avocado, and oshinko, crackers, olives, cheese, caramel Hello Panda for dessert to have with chocolate mousse and coconut yogurt. I wore my Totoro dress so I packed Totoro chopsticks ^_^

I’m hungry, I want something warm and filling. I don’t quite know what.

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Not too bad really ^_^ I pulled the toolbox out but didn’t find the heavy duty stapler I was hoping to find… I think I’m just going to find some thumbtacks for the fabric and be done with it, can’t hold up everything for this one thing.

Decided to impose a rule on myself that I can only fill up a page’s worth of tasks. So here we go:

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

A bad storm is moving through for the weekend. It started last night & already made a bit of a mess, but the worst of it is today, so... No yardwork lol which is good because my back has been a pain this week 😒 There's a lot to do inside, but I'm going to be careful. Maybe list post later.

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Back is aching pretty badly, as are my shoulders thanks to an exercise Sensei had us do Monday and again today 😖 I know I need to soak to help the ache go away but why is it so hard to sit in the tub? 😭 Though silver lining, Sensei got permission from Okinawa to test ne for my next rank in January 😁

Didn’t do much on my task list. It decided to put on Ghostbusters and start going through Halloween ^_^ 🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃

020

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Meh… didn’t do too much, at least right now. Just chilled with Pagan and watched Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. Gonna do a special pre-Yom Kippur dinner with my gals later and maybe later tonight I’ll feel like doing something.

040

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Trying to get myself going. Got the dishwasher filled and running it, now debating if I want to bring Pagan with me to the pet store, because mostly I want to see his reaction to the kitties they have up for adoption. My finances right now are too tight to get one but the times is coming I think.

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Deleted the finished tasks, and I think I did pretty darn well. Tomorrow it’s likely going to rain, so doubt the outdoor stuff will get done, but we’ll see. I’m so tired lol

021

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Had to add some stuff to the list, but I got some stuff done so far. Let’s see how much longer I can keep it up.

030

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

… let’s just say I have my work cut out for me. Thankfully I have another 3-day weekend.

040

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

My lunch today ^_^ it’s a bit… monotone, I need to work on making it a bit more colorful, but honestly right now it’s enough to pack something. I did get little baking cup separators! The box itself is part of that set with the triangular one I used a few weeks ago.

Breaking and entering, theft (Minecraft- found a village last night lol)

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

My lunch today ^_^ in the container is curry sauce. It said that it will keep hot things hot, but it kept it just above lukewarm, really. Still was pretty good along with the potatoes and rice. Some cucumber and honey mustard dressing and it was a nice meal 😋

Didn’t do too much today outside of making a huge mess in the kitchen in order to make curry 😅 it was a partly from scratch part using roux cubes recipe so… messes were made.

150

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Mostly throwing the towel in for the day I guess, I’m tired. I know I should eat something for dinner, but I don’t know what… I’m not particularly hungry, but I don’t want to eat too late at night 😔

130

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Midday check in. Did quite a bit, though got distracted by YouTube when I took a break. Was also hesitant to work outside because Pagan is napping by the door. Mowing might not happen but we’ll see, going to get myself out there while there’s still daylight.

130

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Another long list of things to do for the weekend, but I’m thinking I should be able to finish everything ^_^ the yardwork is always the toughest, I have to be careful that I don’t strain my back and knees… I have to build them up though so this stops happening 😅

021

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

On a roll this week with a second bento! Tuna salad sushi with pickled daikon, cucumber, and avocado, the extra rice with another slice of oshinko, some broccoli, dried cranberries, cashews, and coconut chocolate covered almonds for dessert 😋

150

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Good thing I packed (what I hope) a tasty lunch because today is turning into a nightmare ^_^ A friend’s Japanese neighbor had a yard sale because they’re moving back to Japan, I bought this bento box from them 💜🐇

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I don’t have the energy to deal with Pagan with the vacuum and mop; the vacuum scares him and I’d have to block him from the kitchen, it’s a thing and I’m tired now. I have work tomorrow and don’t know if it’s going to insane or quiet. Love you guys 🌻💜🌻 hope everyone is well!

020

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Got a good deal done this weekend, including helping friends out with stuff. Debating if I want to spend a bit more time outside while I have the light or stick to the indoor stuff.

121

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Not too bad, especially for taking time off to shower and go play the Gundam TCG this afternoon. We’ll see if I have any energy to expend this evening.

050

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

A’ight, I think I’m feeling better today, going to get outside since it’s cool and cloudy, will try to not overdo it lol Got the kitchen cleaned up mostly, will update the task list later on.

150

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

All right, home from friend, still don’t have a lot of energy but I’m still going to try to get *something* done.

130

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

*sighs* doubt anything is getting done today. My motivation took a major nose-dive. Let’s see what happens after I meet up with my friend I guess.

The Void has hijacked my morning and demanded snuggles.

Okay, here’s the list, friend is forcing me to take a break and visit her later so…

030

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Wish I could draw, the drama I have with my machines at work is getting to the point of ridiculousness and I want to share. Anyways, crazy week, let a lot of the house chores go because literally no time/energy. Thankfully, 3 day weekend. Task list pending, breakfast first.

150

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I was able to get out for some yardwork, pretty happy with what I got done, went to karate class and now I feel like I was hit by a truck lol hopefully a good soak will help and I’ll get some sleep tonight.

So due to scheduling shenanigans, I got today off from work 😅 I went and did a clothing return, came home to take a break, I want to work outside but my outdoor clothes are being dried and, well, Pagan has his own ideas.

Well not as much as I wanted done but I did what I could 🙂

030

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

*rubs face* okay here we go… hoping I have enough spoons. Not all of this has to be done today, maybe 5-7 things must be done, but also the more I get done today the more I can relax tomorrow. Also something in the house smells terrible >_<

010

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Survived the day, but everything is a wreck, I have to make eggplant parm tomorrow and people some more but thankfully it’s chosen family type peopling. I’m hoping Pagan isn’t too upset with me for being out so much T_T

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I doubt I’ll make the curry tonight, it takes some doing, the same pot I’d use to make it is taken up by the sauce, and it took a lot to get up to do what I have finished so far. I’ll probably do it Sunday.

Tomorrow is going to be a very long day. Work, a wake, 2nd job, then another wake. This is what I’m hoping to accomplish today.

Gonna see if I have the movie 9 to 5 somewhere and probably watch it on repeat for the next three days. Rest in love, Dolly, you brought a lot of joy to so many. Thank you.

This is the strangest bento box in my collection. I don’t remember if I picked it up in Japan, on EBay, Amazon, or Hawaii. It came with a rectangle and a square bento box, matching straps, cloth, chopstick sleeve, and chopsticks. By its shape I assume it’s for onigiri, but the size seems odd. (1/2)

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Today was decent 🙂 been watching vids by a lady who lives alone in Japan, they’re nice & soothing. With going back to work, I’m trying to get back into more cooking, but ideas escape me 😓 or I get overly ambitious, buy a ton of food, then lose energy & it goes to waste. Dunno what to do for that.

060

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Got a few things done, going to take a small break and depending if Pagan demands cuddles, I shall continue.

140

SoloShikigami @soloshikigami.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

A little ambitious today, so let’s see what happens. There’s a few things on here that really shouldn’t take too much time, but, we’ll see.
