No, not really... not lately at least... But that's what these threads are for.

What is it? It's... ...it's green.

Was hard to narrow it down to 9.

Descent, Planescape: Torment, Mass Effect, Freespace, Final Fantasy 8, Jazz Jackrabbit, Wizards Lair, Lemmings, Cannon Fodder

Too many beans... or maybe not enough beans...

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Though that's just PC hardware related <everything> right now.

The rare occasion it's - ...oh they're now charging stupid money for it, pricing me out of its use.

Not with AI but have been burned by this a few times... Oh this look interes.... and they're canning it.

If in doubt - TODO: FIX THIS

Normal... [for Ned/Ned's place]

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

You need a 'single pane of glass' solution or something... you can ignore everything all in the one place.

Also 'Starfleet is not a military' even if the UFP genuinely believes that, no-one else around them does. We come in peace... in a ship than can wipe out all life on your planet with impunity... don't worry, we're totally not a miliary though.

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

UFP [well Starfleet and/or S31] reach for the WMD button quite often. Romulan War? Nukes Klingon War? Threaten to blow up Qonos Borg? bioweapon 8472? weaponised nanites Founders? bioweapon As Sisko and Quark would say in different ways: Humanity/UFP is nice and friendly... until theyre not

If we're going Series themes... *dons flak jacket* TNG DS9 ENT [Archer's Theme] VGR SNW ENT [Faith of the Heart] TOS DSC PIC [Mind is completely blank on TAS, LD, PRG, and SFA] Picard [all variants of it] though, hands down, least favourite series theme.

Honestly - First Contact and Motion Picture tied... ... then Trek '09 ... everything else blurs into one

I am apparently a New Yorker [I've never been to the US]

010

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

As I've sad before. I respect your Trek opinions even if I don't always agree with them. There are many many toxic crybaby bullies out there on tinterweebles but you have never been [in my experiences] one of them. Easier said than done I know but try not to let eedjits on the internet get to you

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I don't think I can pick a singular favourite. But, for the sake of answering the question, encouraging conversations and because no-one else has mentioned it yet [I think] - Trials and Tribble-ations...

110

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

probably quicker listing the ones that wouldn't work...

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

As you said in the Ups and Downs... it does feel like they went 'lets have everyone be muppets!' and got little further than that.

RedFlames @redflames.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

=== Ep/Ups and Down Spoilers === A 'concept okish, execution miss' ep for me I think. Personally I think they should've leant fully into 'this is in Spock's head/Spock is losing it [again]' or a spin on the end of Those Old Scientists [where they appears in LD style bc they're all drunk].
