In the seasons where Man City have been found guilty of breaking Premier League financial rules, no team missed out on European football at their expense more often than Everton 😳

The computer hacker who released documents which led to the Premier League investigation into Manchester City says Gianni Infantino "should have no place in the future of the game".

There’s the headline quote and then there’s the stuff about Everton … unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, the prime minister of this country is trying to sway an investigation into culprits of widespread corporate fraud in their favour. Truly, a jaw-dropping, appalling intervention.

Could the PL actually find a way of demanding the club, in its current form is wound up (in the legal sense -I think they’ve already wound up enough people), or maybe taking legal action (HMRC or Serious Fraud Office) to close them down and then they’d have to start again at the bottom of the heap

Our response to Andy Burnham's Labour Party Conference speech 💬 #TaxTheSuperRich
We welcome the Prime Minister's vision to bring hope back to our country and communities.
And we repeat our longstanding message: we're ready to play our part by paying our fair share, so Britain gets the investment it needs to make that vision a reality.
This country helped to build our success. So millionaires like us must be taxed more. It's our turn to step up first and help build a better future for everyone.

City don't have fit and proper owners. How can they continue running a club? How can "sponsorship deals" be taken seriously? Why should they be allowed to skew another competition? They've made City a laughing stock and, far from "washing" their reputation, they've made it worse. They need to go.

It's worth pointing out the rules then allowed for much more uncontrolled spending than the last 3 to 5 years. 900m of cheating is absolutely mind boggling and it casts everything since the takeover into doubt. This Manchester City now is built on the foundation of that 900m.
