Joe Musgrove is the 2nd player to appear in a postseason game directly after not appearing in any game of the two prior regular seasons, joining: 1945 Clyde McCullough (1 WS game in 1945, after missing all of 1944-45 regular seasons due to military service) h/t @EliasSports

On this day in 1972 Roberto Clemente hits his 2999th hit during the 4th inning of a game vs the Phillies. The last road game of the season. In the 6th inning, Clemente is pulled so that he can try for his 3000th hit back in Pittsburgh in front of the home team crowd.

Last night was the 13th anniversary of the day that the Giant Rubber Duck arrived in #Pittsburgh, and honestly it was one of my favorite nights of photography. This was the only night that it wasn't parked by the fountain at the Point, creating some unique and fun images.

Since I haven't seen anything about it here, the Steelers are trading Broderick Jones to the Cowboys. According to @asaunderspgh.bsky.social on the other site, the Steelers are getting third- and sixth-round picks from the Cowboys, in exchange for Jones and a fourth, per ESPN.
