I have not gone out today as I did this yesterday, so now I have to wait several days for a replacement.

The rivet link on a motorcycle chain where the faceplate had been pressed too far on one side causing the rubber rings to bulge out. Which means they are ruined, so the link needs to be removed and replaced.

There is a possibility I might have broken my motorbike. At least it is now sitting there with a loose wheel and a loose brake pad as I have no idea how to get the wheel back on. Hopefully a forum post will yield an answer other than to pay an expert to repair it. Not good.

Bank holiday weekend: 1,125 miles Completely stupid and way too hot for it. But my first time in Exmouth, I finally got to Ynys y Barri, and finally a good experience in Leicester. Somehow my biking improved too. Thankfully no more bank holidays for a while, now if only it would cool down too.

Yesterday I read in Leicester, and these geese owned the park. They walked into the pavement and a runner came along and he bravely pushed through. A cyclist behind waited to see if they would move, then turned back. Then a dog went into the water, but not for long, literally chased out.

There is a by-election coming (suspended Green not taking their place), and I voted for Robert Doyle as he does a lot Streatham, but a thank you for being voted a distant third seems odd. This was a LibDem area until the Coalition wipe out, but I do not recall a leaflet from them in the past decade.

A post election leaflet addressed to St. Leonard's from the Liberal Democrats saying "THANK YOU!" as a headline. It is placed in front of a computer screen with the election results showing the party's candidates getting between 726 and 458 votes, behind Labour on 1,084 to 833, and the winning Green candidates with 2,242 to 1,437 votes.

I did visit a sea yesterday, kind-of. It is there beyond the beach and part the mud. The forecast was for some sun, there was pretty much no sun, but a lot of wind making it cold.

The beach between Grand Pier and Knightstone Island in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset on the Seven Estuary. Under a lot of clouds and with the tide out there are not many people on the beach.

A quiet year doe Den Stora Älvandringen with only 42 elk swimming over the river, and many at night, such that it finished earlier than planned. Apparently a warmer winter meant they did not travel so far south to need to return. Importantly though, it will be back again next year!

When I got back to my bike in Happisburgh it looked like this, so thank you the people of Norfolk for not taking the insulin I apparently left on the seat.

A hard pink case sits on the seat of a motorcycle, or is the insulated case I use to carry my insulin when going out. I must have taken it out of the bike but forgot to put it in my bag. A couple hours later it is still there though.
