The hire car I have keeps recognising all the road signs, half of which are entrances to other roads... and then flashing and beeping at me for doing 40 mph on a "20". When the road markings vanish and come back, it tries to "lane assist" me into incoming traffic. Annoying.

From what I've experienced, it's actually the older folk who speaking up about climate change because they have lived to experience those changes first hand. The 40-60s seem to be the least bothered or the ones in denial about it. Young people care because we have to deal with it the consequences.

I spoke to some elderly people at work and they all agreed that summer temperatures have become worryingly hot in the last 10 years or so. 1976 was also hot, yes. But these summers are becoming like this almost every year now. That is NOT normal. It's not too late to stop it from getting worse.

Same with weight loss and fitness. Someone asks how you lose weight and you tell them you started running and calorie counting etc. Then 6 months later they say "You're so lucky. You have skinny genes." No, actually I worked my ass off... thank you very much.

Something that bugs me. The same people who shrug when I tell them about the ways I save and my mini side hustles. 6 months later ask me how I can afford a holiday claim I'm "lucky" and "well off". I'm not. I earn less than £1K a month. I worked hard and saved up... don't be ignorant. It's rude.

A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't run for 30 seconds without getting out of breath. Now I'm on Week 3 of Couch To 5K and have just completed my first 3 minute run without stopping. So proud of myself.

I'm not worried about my data being stolen, but being sold. Our data is incredibly valuable, especially to political parties, healthcare companies etc. See the Cambridge Analytica scandal. I already sell my data online, but the difference is, I pick who I sell it to + I get paid for it.

It's so annoying because it's intermittent and can be fine for a week. Sometimes the revs DROP in traffic and bounce between 0 and 10. But if you rev it in that state, the revs refuse to drop down. Any more suggestions before I throw in the towel?
