#MCAS folks talk to me about how to help a flare. Woke up in the middle of the night with puffy eyes, swollen painful fingers, stomach bloating, flushed cheeks, etc. This morning my blood sugar and resting heart rate are unusually high too. Took an extra zyrtec but what else can I do?

Things I did today as I'm recovering from the flu and trying to take a Shabbat break from EVERYTHING: watched some episodes of Night Agent S2, pretty fun watch but not was good as The Diplomat. Watched Conclave - this is obviously going to win some Oscars because it has no women in it.

Is anyone taking Cromolyn for #EDS #MCAS. I was prescribed it a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting the sense that there are more details to the timing with food then my doctor told me. I am supposed to take it 4 times a day and am working up to the full dose slowly.
