The fog that rolls in off the lake is one of my absolute favorite things about spring in Chicago.

I have gone from knowing next to nothing about fashion to passing a mom on the street and instantly recognizing the brand and style of her trench-coat in a fairly short period of time, and I’ve got to admit, this level of awareness is very weird. (If you’re curious It was Sézane’s Clyde trench.)

When I was 4, before I’d even started kindergarten, to the complete shock of the adults in my life, I pulled a book a shelf and started reading it. How? Sesame Street had taught me enough that my 4-year-old brain put it together and BOOM, I was reading. Sesame Street literally taught me to read.
